Mitsubishi Eclipse bad factory paintjob

My wife Mitsubishi Eclipse 2009 had a bad factory paintjob. There was an international black paint issue with the eclipses and mitz was giving unofficial recalls for it.I did follow up with Habtoor but they were like they havent heard about it before.

The clearcoat is gone now in the boot and the roof, and the black paint is now exposed. How can i fix it?

As far as I know, Mitsubishi never accepted responsibility for this issue anywhere in the world, and many owners were forced to repaint their cars themselves.

There is no "fix" for this, except to have the clear coat removed and reapplied by a good body shop.

Totally agree with treks, Mitsubishi paint quality really sucks may be as they sell their cars too cheap from the rival.

I got my Pajero resprayed with 3 layer Octoral paint Standox clearcoat few months back and sealed it with 3M protection.
