brandan
This is just brilliant invention by Ford, just curious how active suspension can stiffen up to counter the drop?
Barry
A normal shock absorber is filled with oil. A modern active shock absorber is filled with oil and little metal particles. When the suspension needs to stiffen up, electromagnetics activate and move the metal particles around to where they are needed for extra pressure. desertdude
Bose developed a better system 10 yrs ago, always, wondered why it never made it to the market. Not only does it work for potholes but also bumps and cornering. Although now cars do have active cornering suspension https://m.youtube.com/watch?v=eSi6J-QK1lw
Stef.an
This is really amazing. I mean, it good because you can't feel the pothole when you come over it. It's amazing how they coordinate to their system
