Cars trapped in robot car park for 15 years

A robot car park in Edinburgh, Scotland was open for a 2 year period between 2001-2003. The owners went bankrupt and the administrators simply showed up one day and locked the doors with 8 cars inside. Nobody knows what happened to the car owners.

Fiat Tipo (?) and Austin Maestro in the pic. Not sure if they count as quality 'barn finds' but still pretty interesting as the models disappeared from the roads years ago.

On a side note, does anyone know how long abandoned cars sit here before they're picked up?

Depends on luck. I have loads of abandoned cars lying around for ages and they picked my car as abandoned car when I went on a 3 weeks leave.
