_Herman_
@Emanuel, @Frederic, @Zed What an absolutely fantastic drive you gave us today! First fewbie drive, loved the way the pace picked up and we were a bit more self-reliant, good way to activate the braincells. The landscape and route was just beautiful, the mix of technical terrain opening up to larger slopes. Perfect way to spend a morning, and a perfect introduction to the next level. Thank you very much as leading team, and also many thanks to some familiar and some new faces that made for very nice encounters and comraderie. 4
Soap
If reaching the white sands itself was an adventure, spending time in the bowls albeit involuntarily was another level of adventure. Thanks to everyone for helping me out multiple times Special shout out to the leads for the higher paced drive 3
Emanuel
Good afternoon Desert Explorers, Thank you for joining this drive and for being on time. You all drove very well through challenging technical dunes that Freddie chose to warm us up and then onwards to some taller dunes as we made our way east towards the foxes den. We had some refusals that were mostly dealt with easily and provided some practice for newer Fewbie's. During this first part of the drive the fog started getting thicker the further we were going into the desert before starting to burn off about an hour later. We had an exciting and challenging stuck with @Soap who had started slipping off a ridge and ended up in a pocket. He did the correct thing and exited the ridge though it was into this nasty predicament. It was a good learning opportunity on winches and how to safely straighten the car to then be able to self recover the rest of the way. Incremental progress back and forth requires patience and control not to over throttle. The technique also helped @Zahid Sharif later on. Thank you @Frederic for supporting me on this partial lead. Always a pleasure and a learning experience to drive with you. Also thanking @Zed for Center Forward. You made life so much better for Fred and I today on this challenging drive. Thank you @Zulfikhar Naiyar for Sweep. Good communication kept me informed about the convoy progress and movements. Special shoutout to our first time Fewbie drivers - @Soap, @Zahid Sharif, and @Herman G. Congratulations. You all did very well and this continued as we picked up the pace and difficulty. Have a great weekend and see you next time. 5 1
Emanuel
Here are our drive stats and route. Completing 34 kms over 3 hours in at times challenging terrain with three new Fewbie's is pretty respectable. Once again, well done. 1

Imran Asghar
Hi Emmanuel and Team, apologies I didn't make it this morning. Burning the candle at both ends doesn't seem to work for me any more I suppose! Bad form and no excuse! Have a great Sunday Imran
