_luke_
DRIVE DESCRIPTION Join us for a thrilling off-road expedition through the stunning terrain of Bu Tais, Abu Dhabi! This exploration drive will take you deep into the desert’s sculpted bowls and sweeping ridges, with a scenic pause at the iconic Seven Palms of Bu Tais — a legendary landmark and perfect spot to catch your breath and snap a few photos. We will start by taking a dirt road for about 15km south, then heading eastwards linking as many sections of bowls as we can, before making the trip back to civilization via sabkha tracks. 🚙 Important Note: This is a remote drive with no nearby petrol stations. Please bring extra fuel based on your vehicle’s tank size. If you run low, I’ve got you covered — top-ups available IN THE DESERT at AED 30 per litre…………… 😎 so prepare your jerry cans accordingly. _luke_
Hello Interested Folks @Diego @Dan S @Zsolt @Glenn W @nithish468 @B.K. @Sam Selim @Krinesh @Giacomo @Gautam Banka @ChrisW @Andrew John Melvill @Aser This is a remote drive. You will need to bring some extra fuel compared to a normal drive. 40km (adnoc to meeting point) + 15km dirt road to the first dunes... and the same again when exiting to get to the nearest petrol station. So you will need to be able to cover roughly 100km before considering your fuel consumption IN THE SAND, hopefully we will be making good pace and will cover 80-100km in the dunes. Both of these petrol options are between 30-40 km from meeting point. adnoc 975: https://maps.app.goo.gl/fuMSAgGxSE5aTgq86 enoc 1915: https://maps.app.goo.gl/dvw1oeUJMxTvGctJ7 (enoc 1915 opens at 06:00... do you have enough time to reach meeting point?) FJ Cruiser with a mega sized FULL tank might not need to bring jerry cans as 140L of petrol goes a long way, but cars with smaller fuel tanks and/or higher fuel consumption will require Jerry Can(s) of fuel. If you don't have properly secured extra fuel or a massive full tank at the meeting point, we will have to turn you back. Please keep this in mind. 3 1
