DRIVE DESCRIPTION

Welcome to Carnity off-road club - Fewbie drive!

This Friday let's meet at Tawi Nazwa to have some fun. In this terrain we won't find any area that is barred of tracks. But we have a fantastic opportunity to revisit those tracks on a nice-paced drive through those dunes starting at Tawi Nazwa and ending at Big Red.

Please ensure your off-road gear matches your rank, and bring along plenty of enthusiasm and a strong desire to learn and grow your skills.

To make this experience safe and enjoyable for everyone, we kindly ask all participants to carefully review the guidelines, etiquettes, and responsibilities outlined below and to follow them diligently throughout the drive.

DRIVE DETAILS

Level:  Fewbie and above

Meeting time: 07:30 AM (SHARP - Without any exceptions)

Type of Car: Any proper 4x4 with front and back tow hooks and 8-10 inches of ground clearance.

What to bring along: Loads of water & snacks (for yourself), smiles, enthusiasm and a willingness to learn.

Mandatory off-road gears: Newbie and above, Tire deflator, tire pressure gauge, compressor, walkie-talkie radio, off-road flag, shovel, first-aid kit, fire extinguisher, Intermediate and above, Tow Rope and 2 soft Shackles.

Note: Please ensure that all of your off-road gear is securely tied down with ratchet straps in the rear compartment of the vehicle. Bungy type tie downs are not suitable for tying down off-road gear.

Approximate finish time: 11:00 - 11:30 AM

P.S. Only join if you have a compressor to inflate your tires after the drive.
 

LIMITED SPOTS AVAILABLE

• This drive is limited to 10 cars only. RSVP will close on Friday - 1 PM.
• If the RSVP is full, you can add your name to the waitlist, once anyone drops, you will be moved to the RSVP list.
• RSVP will close a day prior to preparing a convoy list.
• Latecomers will be returned back - Without any exceptions.
• Members without RSVP will be returned back - Without any exceptions.
• Please withdraw your RSVP, if you aren't joining, so your spot can be taken by others.
• Repeated no-show members after RSVP will have their account suspended for a month.

According to the weather forecast, the chance of rain on Friday morning is 100%.

The drive still on, but I plan to move the meeting time from 7.00 to 7.30 to ensure safer highway driving. Please throw comments🙏

Bring an umbrella or a raincoat for deflating and inflating. Not sure yet if the sand will turn really soft like porridge or stay compacted, we will run  2 psi higher than usual to avoid tire pop out.

I joined the waiting list intentionally, as I applied for my promotion last week and was hoping to get it sorted by the beginning of this week, but it’s still pending. I noticed I was moved to the Going list.

I’d really love to join the drive if possible, but since the promotion is still in progress, I’ll step back and rejoin the waiting list for now, so other driver can join the drive.

If there’s any chance to join, I’ll be ready anytime up until tomorrow.

@Ishak Hi, had to drive through some water today and the car is not sounding as normal anymore. It is working but hearing tucktucktuck noise when turning the steering left/right. 
 

Might be better to just get it checked tomorrow at the Garage so as to not cause any further damage. Sorry will need to back out.

Yes, its flooded, Ash got through but the small car following him is floating !
