Ancient Sony A6400 with some tamron lenses. Not the best for lowlight but i’m sure some delayed long exposure shots will do the trick… will def read up a little more!

Yeah I’m in two minds about camping. If it cools down enough it might be doable, but mid June is usually too hot. Let’s see.

Sunday order annew tripod 

Monday find and clear the memory cards

Tuesday test the tripod 

Wednesday find the batteries 

Thursday charge the batteries and order kids tripods for phones 

Friday pack the bag and line everything up in the downstairs hallway including camping stuff in case we decide 

Saturday morning check camera settings and go hunting for the milky way 

Can't fricken wait

Good evening everyone!

You can find the planned track attached (GPX). There is a farm and some trees in the area, so we might be able to roam around a bit to find a sweet spot. I think the farm is abandoned and could turn out to be a great subject.

I just hope Al Razeen prison won't have their floodlights on that evening 🫣 so light pollution would be not an issue.

Let's all meet up at 9PM and deflate at the entry point.

Bring a walkie talkie and let's use CH10: 446.231Mhz.

Thanks so much for the invite @Frederic 🙏🏻😍 - I believe I am in and am looking forward to it 🤩! I'll have a few camera bodies (all Canon, one modified)), two star trackers and a few lenses (14mm f/2.8, 50mm f/1.8 and 135mm f/2). And whatever else fits in the car 😂. Thanks again!
