Very good choice on year. Same i was about to suggest bro, prior 2001 is good model and excellent off roader with very light unibody chasis and very Powerful for dunes.

Always prefer deal from individual private sellers than used car dealers as you can get transparent deal and not polished one to hide any faults or with reversed kms. Good luck for your search.

Considering US specs and 98 model, 16 is quiet steep. Should be around 13-14k if its really nicely maintained and in good condition with low mileage, else 10k at par with market price.

I got my 2000 cherokee XJ manual grear Sport 4.0 l . 5 months ago it was mint clean and only was driven (49000) km cost me ( 34000 S.R). I then ,noticed many clean ones. One government minisrty sold more than 60 ( 2000) cherokees most of them are clean and had low milage on it .
