sound coming from tyres whIle driving

Dear friends,

I own a 2012 fortuner.

When driving there is a strange knocking sound coming from the tyres. I had taken the car to Al-Futtaim and they had fixed it. On fixing I had asked them what was the exact issue, but they didn't tell a proper reason and repeatedly said that now the issue is fixed.

Again now the sound is coming. Instead of taking the car to Al-Futtaim, I took it to a friends garage. When lifting the vehicle and spinning the tyres freely the sound doesn't come. It comes only when the wheels are on the ground. The people at the garage advised to have the vehicle checked at Al-Futtaim only because they feel the sound is coming from the brakes.

I will be going to Al-Futtaim next week. Wanted to know if any of you guys are also facing the same issue and if so, how was it fixed.

Let Al futtaim fix it and this time deal with stern hand otherwise they will keep you coming back 5 times. Its 2012 car, and they should fix it, change it or replace the faulty stuff in warranty anyways rather than giving customer a quick fix.

Gave my vehicle to al Futtaim last Sunday. Received the same today.

They said they aren't sure what is the issue, but aftrt they had lubricated the break drums the sound isint coming.

Dear Salim,

I had the same problem, it was from the tire road. AL futtaim replaced it for under warranty. But after that I face lot of other problems as they dint do the alignment properly and during the fixing some other parts got damaged etc.. Am struggling now with them to get my car repaired properly.
