  1. What’s your thoughts on this then? http://www.carscoops.com/2017/11/aston-martin-furia-burns-hotter-than.html?m=1 I think it looks like a Scirocco with an AM grille. Nothing groundbreaking in design terms.

  2. I have several times done small service and repairs by myself and I would love to carry out bigger jobs on my own. Space and lack of tools at times stops me from doing it. At times it's my bad shoulder. Still like to watch and help whenever I can.

  3. Fusion, you say Gaurav? Perhaps, but I think you left the "con" part out.

  4. Interesting stuff and I have only seen it from a distance. Join me @Jeh in some of the drives I'll drive you up and you can teach me how to do it.

  5. HAHAHAHAH. Barry it's called fusion these days. Take lights and grill from last year range rover and plonk on new model ford explorer. Or take Glohh tail light (aftermarket) and plonk on new model LC.

  7. I guess you’re talking about the inner cv joint which goes into the diff? Smell the oil on it. Gear oil is stinky and you can’t mistake it for anything else. Maybe the oil seal has gone and all the oil has come out of the diff and screwed it. So worth checking how much oil is in it too. If there’s yellowish fluid on the inside of the wheel rim, the first thing to do is make sure it’s not brake fluid. Then look at the rubber boot on the cv joint and see if there are clips on both ends and that the rubber isn’t split. If the grease has come out of the joint, you can try repacking it again and sealing it up. Sometimes it works, sometimes it doesn’t. It depends on how much driving you’ve done with no grease in it. Probably best if you just take it to a proper mechanic who should be able to diagnose it in 15-20 minutes.

  8. Waiting for @skumar83 trip report, here is my point of view. Met on time at the designated area, has a quick bite and we were off to the deflation point. After deflation and a quick word for the drivers brief we were off right on top of Big Red. Accompanied by my wife who felt that @skumar83 was a bit to adventurous with a scream every here and there, I felt proud that someone within 8 months and just 30 off drives could lead so well. Only in Carnity. @baselsm83 also managed well and kept up with what turned out to be a quick thrilling ride to Pink Rocks. At this point my wife was like she liked roller coaster rides better because she knows they get over in 2 minutes. Being early I asked if they wanted to continue to Fossil Rocks and they were all game, so started a section of off-road journey which linked the 2 areas together. This clears the air on why we call it out sand box. The second part was almost as enjoyable and we flew at good pace to reach the Fossil Rocks at a good time after rescuing a couple of vehicles on the way. The weather was beautiful as was the company. All in all we had the flavour of 2 drives in a day with over 50 kilometers covered off-road. My kudos to the team who keeps learning and growing in experience and confidence. Thanks @skumar83 for a wonderful day out in our beloved place.
