Much learning and experience on my first Support drive. This will be a very memorable induction indeed. Used both shovels and my kinetic rope today. Thanks @JeromeFJ for leading the drive and for your assistance. @Gaurav Soni, @Mehmet Volga for supporting and @Luke K P in S/L. You have a great memory @Gaurav Soni. That hat-trick in the same pocket a year or two back on @Davie Chase's drive still makes me shake my head. Today I was able to laugh about it. Have a great weekend everyone and see you next time!

Thanks for a fantastic drive @JeromeFJ to start the winter season! Everyone had gathered and deflated and ready for briefing as @Gaurav Soni joined from the desert to join us. We headed south west through some of the smaller dunes as a warm up before @Luke K P managed to get crested around 7:05. A quick tug from the carnity support team 20 minutes later we were passing the remains of the burnt out car (FJ?) We stopped and took turns doing some nice bowls before a sideways stuck of a slope gave @Emanuela baptism by fire for his first support gig. Great work to everyone getting the car out! All in all we had some great dune and bowl riding, and got out safely and on time! We covered 36 km in 4 hours with a lot of fun! See you all next time and enjoy your weekend.

Great drive indeed, and a very nice way to start the season, for a few of us (incl me) who had a long summer break. Nahel was a perfect place to restart, with a nice variety of terrains, medium size open dunes to start, bigger bowls and long climbs to push a bit those powerful engines, and a few technical portions in-between. In addition, beautiful desert views, that are always rewarding. Excellent drive from all of you, and the few obvious mistakes that happened were a good opportunity to illustrate situations that can become risky... and to practice recoveries. @Emanuel was fully experiencing his supporting new role, which he did with dedication and efficiency. @Luke K P, good to have you back, thank you for the 2nd lead, nicely executed. @Jon L you made a beautiful use of that mighty truck, following the smooth lines of @Luke K P, well done for your 2nd FB drive. Still both of you scared me a bit on that ridge, do not overestimate the capabilities of your vehicles. @Michael asir, congratulations for your first FB drive. You showed great control in the climbs and the bowls. reasonable in your expectations to climb, and taking action to steer down at the time needed. Well done. @Tharun Kumar V well driven, with your experience, you know also the capabilities of your car, and adjust your lines accordingly. @Rk ram ... what to say... even IM drivers have their moments... you have the experience, you have a powerful car, you need to keep the focus even if the drive may look "simple". Being stuck with a steep angle at the top of a high bowl, you gave the opportunity to practice a tricky recovery. @Deepak Eswar, all good, continue working on your controls, you had sometimes excessive speed or steering @Aser, excellent driving, accurate and always in control. The summer had no effect on you ! @Emanuel, thanks again for the support, very much needed today @Gaurav Soni, @Mehmet Volga, it was a pleasure to have you in the drive, thank you for joining. Thrilled about my promotion to the Support Team in our off-road club! I am deeply grateful to the leadership for accepting my application and placing their trust in me. This new role allows me to assist our marshals and other Support Team members and guide newer club members during our exhilarating drives. I am excited about the opportunity to grow and develop into a highly effective team member, contributing to the success and safety of our adventures and of our club. Thank you for this incredible opportunity! I'd also like to thank the marshals and support team members from nowadays and into the past that have helped me grow and learn, and thanks to all the friends and club members I've made here for contributing to my journey over the years. We have a great club, with awesome leadership, marshals, and support team to enjoy our drives with in a safe and fun manner. There is a new patch of sand ahead of me now and I'm embracing the challenge. There have been a number of inspiring comments to this announcement from Gaurav, for which I'm deeply appreciative of.
