Leading in the desert is one of the most rewarding off-road experiences — blending raw adventure, strategic decision-making, and real-time teamwork in a dynamic and unforgiving environment. In the Leaders Lead – Third & Final Session, you’ll put everything you've learned into action. After mastering convoy management and GPS navigation, this final challenge pushes you to apply your leadership skills in one of the most technical and demanding desert terrains in the UAE. This advanced session is designed to test your capabilities across three critical areas: Mastering Technical Dunes: You'll be leading through intense, no-go-level terrain, where every crest, bowl, and drop demands precise control, route planning, and advanced sand reading skills. This module focuses on driving judgment and maintaining convoy rhythm through the harshest dune structures. Adaptive Leadership Based on Convoy Performance: Learn how to dynamically adjust the drive level in real-time — scaling up when the team is confident and scaling down to ensure safety when needed. This teaches you to interpret convoy synergy, driving skills, and situational readiness without compromising the drive’s flow. Managing Complex Recoveries: You'll face high-risk recovery simulations that test your ability to assess, lead, and execute under pressure. From stuck vehicles in side slopes to near rollovers, you'll learn how to orchestrate safe and efficient solutions using the right tools, communication, and leadership composure. Drive Details Level: Selective Advisors - @ChrisW @Sam Selim & @Andrew John Melvill When: 21 June 2026 Sunday - Third Session Meeting time: 5.30 AM, (Sharp, without any exceptions) Meeting Point: Al Faya Abu Dhabi - https://maps.app.goo.gl/8qvZscBdHJ8xvqtf6 Type of Car: Any proper 4x4 with front and back tow hooks and 8-10 inches of ground clearance. Approximate finish time: 9.30 AM Please RSVP on the below calendar:2 points

Sorry it took me a while to upload my picture, transferring and editing a bit took a while. It was my first nighttime shoot. I honestly wasn’t even able to focus or see much of anything without @samamara & @JC_E helping me. Thank you both! I had a great time, it was lovely meeting everyone and amazed with everyone’s gadgets 😊 Thank you @Frederic for organizing this and we should definitely do it again.2 points

Thank you all so much for joining us last night! The weather was still very much doable, the cookies delicious @Ana ,and it was so great to see old friends back in the Carnity family @samamara! Your commitment and support to drive all the way from RAK to Al Razeen is admirable. Thank you so much. I think we all had plenty of time to mess around with our camera settings, or in the case of @Zubail his bazooka 😁 and i was super impressed with everyone's results. Even @Thomas54675 that just showed up with his phone was getting stellar results! I just selected to upload two photos which i liked. One was with the 14mm Samyang f2.8 where Sam was just pointing her laser at the sky. Gives it a nice sci-fi atmosphere. The second one is with the 35mm f2.0. There's also a gallery made for this event. Feel free to put your photos also in there. See you all back in the sand! (or starry skies in this case)1 point
