    It all depends on how much you like to spend, if you want proper good solution then look for good brands like Helix, Blam and Focal instead of these over commercialized brand like sony, pioner and kenwood.

    Full aluminium performance radiator you can get with tazweed in sharjah or ramy trading in dubai. Serck custom made are made with fuck all alumium that is too heavy and thick, that does lesser good as compare to the ready made that comes in 1000-1500 dhs range.

    How about driving to sharjah scrappies and get one for dirt cheap and before buying try if it solves your problem or not. One trip + 50 dhs (max) and your problem is over.

    With 135k km in 7 year means it has been putting roughly 20k every year, similar to your driving. So if I am in your place I will dig deeper in that bunch of receipts and figure out of how expensive will the maintenance be at almost half life of this beauty. Ask yourself a question, if you can live with that maintenance + 30% more as it will get more older and prone to expensive repairs year after year. I understand that its a buyer market these days, so if you are getting a sweet deal then go for it. If not I wouldn't risk big money on 7 year old sports car.

    I dont think RSA offers life insurance, but AXA does and metlife is also good. I have heard some weird stories about alico, so better research before risking your money.

    eeewww, this poor engine must have run for 20-30k km with single oil change before reaching to this stage......! Owner's driver license need to be destroyed and make him off the road for at least 6 months.

    This 20 km gap in speed limit is already a big confusion to many moroon in the country as no one ever explain this in any training schools, RTA or dubai police site. Only people knowing this fact keep doing the tailgating to move other from their road. Now this fake flash will cause even bigger confusion here........!

    I was sick of my clamp based phone holder and other day thought of switching to magnetic phone holder to place on my car dashboard. One gentlemen at my work made a comment that magentic phone holder will be bad for my phone and cause my iphone to freak while in gps mode. Anyone using magnetic car phone holder and uses the google maps please share the reality. Thanks in advance.

    I hear your point rahim and totally agree too, but I just shared something worth of interest for car owners and mall goers. Hope it's a good start in right direction and slowly they will add more electric cars in most of the malls in Dubai. I still feel they should charge little bit like 5-10 dhs to cut down the 50% queuing and make it more useful for needy people who are really tired after whole run.

    Process is fairly simple, but hunting good number is a task. Go to any Tasjeel and ask RTA official to search one similar to your need and buy with a price tag of 6000 aed upwards. Up until Sep starting price was 1000 that now hiked up to 6000. Another option is to find numbers in classifieds website and you might get what you may like in cheap price. Another option is search in 2020.ae and they still sell for cheap as they have old stock and their range starts from 3500 Another option is to register on RTA.ae official RTA website and click on special plate auction from right side fourth hover over menu link. Sometimes you might get real lucky in RTA auctions for cheap.

    If you already sorted out air filter, injector then cause of black smoke at tailpipe means your car engine running too rich in fuel. Only thing left to check is fuel return lines, as I suspect excessive fuel is not able to return properly and getting forcefully burnt resulting in black smoke.

    This is really nice thread and lot of heated wisdom came to surface. Can anyone please explain the logic of carbon removal with water, I mean the scientific logic. I remember long back while rebuilding one engine seeing those dirty valves and poor mechanic has to dip them in some chemical solvent overnight and then scrub the hell out it. I am sure if it was as easy as this then he could have just washed them under the tap water and fitted the engine back, what exactly I'm missing here?

    Go with 3M scotchguard for ultimate paint protection, it's bit expensive but worth every penny.

    Sorry for your disappointing experience, but I'm literally very curious that why won't anyone ever need a heated seats in UAE where almost 12 months temperature is in two digits. Do you meant cooled seats by any chance?
