  1. Well bright spark if you would have looked it up you would have known the donkey cart sprung Xterra is actually a 100kgs heavier than a 4dr V6 prado. All the weight of those big squeaky donkey cart leaf springs does add up! Oh and the SWB is lighter by around half a ton As for the FJ cruiser I use to love it until I actually drove it. Horrible 360 visibility, its like driving while wearing a niqab. With that tiny slit in the front. Off road is even worse, You go up a tiny dune and all you see is the sky, go down a tiny drop and all you see is the ground. Side peripheral which I sometimes use to aid in these kind of situations is also horrible. I think the new ones are coming with a dual tank set up but the early ones came with a gas tank the size of a small masafi bottle and had to be refueled every 500 mtrs. The rear door and seats are there just for namesake but practicality wise useless. The only people who are real fan of the FJ are the serious modding fan club. With big lift kits and huge tyres, baja style bumpers and what not. Hard to even tell there is an FJ under all that. But then I've seen those FJs tackle some serious terrain too.
  2. Adding extra weight for no good reason to the front of the car. And if you are going to go off road. You will see your front end bottoming out more often.
  3. Damn looks I logged into a dedicated Pathfinder forum. The front page is lit up with Pathfinder threads!
  4. Why do you want to drive at 4-5 psi anyways. Unless you have a real light vehicle and very thick, oversized and stiff tyres like cooper STTs you'll literally be driving on flat tryes and your rims will shred them within 5 minutes.
  5. I remember I switched to steel from alloys on my XJ. The difference was big. The car felt heavy, loss of power and poorer acceleration. Will never switch to steel wheels again. And plus all the added strain on all the driveline components probably cause more wear and tear on them. Specially if being off roaded hard. Not worth the one bent rim you might get down the line. Which can be repaired easily and cheaply nowadays
  6. Then with the same logic why not get a bicycle. Even cheaper to run. Where is that facepalm emoji when you need it
  7. Permanent fix It's the last UV resistant clear coat that makes this long lasting. You can get it at ACE or on Amazon
  8. I refuse to watch anything super blondie!
  9. Tried Park n Shop? They have a lot of food stuff brought in from the UK Or the Choitrams in DIP
  10. That's a big no no in the BMW world too not to mix it's blue coolant with any other because it will turn into a gel.
  11. Jeez why does the old one look like it was being cooked in an oven? And since its new, it can be clogged and causing pressure build up. Most likely that jolt with a combination of being old is the cause of why your car has started to leak like a sieve. P.S : Nice Crocs!
  12. Have to say, its a nice job. This is one of those ebay DIY sew it yourself covers ?
  13. Is the radiator new? or used. Well you gave your car a good jolt that whacked the radiator into the main fan. Which could have also damaged the water pump which the main fan is bolted on to. The water pump is not designed to take any physical abuse. Causing it to start weeping. https://www.amazon.ae/dp/B07VX79GY8/ref=asc_df_B07VX79GY8/?tag=googleshopp09-21&linkCode=df0&hvadid=386233137014&hvpos=1o1&hvnetw=g&hvrand=7611363433706531902&hvpone=&hvptwo=&hvqmt=&hvdev=c&hvdvcmdl=&hvlocint=&hvlocphy=9047580&hvtargid=pla-822032744129&psc=1
  14. That museum is Land Cruiser Porn! I'd take the H1 over this but I bet this one never breaks down.
  15. Its just getting old. Its like if one hose burst or belt breaks, its good practice to change all hoses or belts since all are of similar age and worn out equally.
  16. Well you don't believe anything other than your Pajero can do anything so that's a moot point.lol Once you said a patrol can't do anything then even a turbo Cayenne was also useless had to post videos of both. One with me on the wheel. Anyways It's a fun little car which also happens to be a proper body on ladder frame chassis with a low range box. Weighing in slightly over a 1000kgs it's little 1.5 is good enough to have a whizz around the local sandboxes. Once again not everyone wants to enter pissing contests of climbing x dune from y side. Having a playful romp in the desert as shown in the video is good enough. And all that for cheaper than a Corolla
  17. Seems like a fun little car! YES Gaurav it cannot climb tel morab from the front but not eveyone is looking to do that.
  18. Sorry I forgot you had the L322 not the L405
  19. It's like ABS and traction control both work of the same sensors
  20. I don't think I would mind. I usually keep a good distance anyways if on proper highway i.e not roads like shk Zayed or Al Khail. But then again I don't even use regular cruise control. But the bigger advantage of DCC is it also doubles as a anti collision safety device on most vehicles Even when not ON it's still constantly working and if it detects collision is imminent it will go into action. Or rather the anti collision system doubles as DCC
  21. Cruise control is meant only highway driving hence the name cruise control i.e cruising down the highway.
  22. Well wait for a while and it will become standards after a few years. Just like before only cars like Merc had ABS then Airbags, traction control and then it slowly seeped down into Japanese ecoboxes If you want to see what options your jap crap will have in the next 10-15 years look at whats available 8n a S class Merc today for sedans and Range Rovers for SUVs
