  2. Thank you for so much love for Nahel to fill this drive so fast. And thank you DXB/SHJ boys and girls for start stepping out to AD, I promise you will love AD more. Please fill up the fuel much before the meeting point, as Adnoc close to the meeting point is on the outer side of the road, so if you plan to use that keep 15 minutes extra to loop back to meeting point. munkybizness S Jacob Arman Aisha S Josh T. 7. Absolutely, it is the best news for off-roaders. Btw, where it says that its only for Vaccinated residents?
  8. I went to Sweihan few week back with NB and thoroughly enjoyed the beauty and massive scale of AD dunes. So this time it's FB, mean lot more fun is expected.
  9. Finally, the time has come to freely explore, enjoy and chart out Abu Dhabi's massive red sand dunes, a dream world for any off-roader to enjoy the big rolling dunes without any cross-tracks. A place to really test your vehicle limits and actual potential on virgin sand to better understand what your vehicle is really capable of in the massive dunes, bowls, and long side sloping. We plan to enter from Pac-Man (Alien crop circle, lol) side and enjoy the dunes with a view of a lush green agro farm in the middle of the desert. Amazing place to witness how agriculture has developed in the UAE, despite harsh and barren soil. Then we plan to head into bigger dunes with massive side sloping opportunities on two amazing long-range dunes patches heading towards Al Ain Farms. PS1: We plan to exit by 9:30 - 10:00, but in such dunes and crossing we might have an unexpected delay or difficulty as I'm exploring this area for the first time since 2018. So please raise your tolerance and factor in extra time for some delay. PS2: Get ready for some serious fun, much more than a regular NB/FB drive in Dubai/Shj. As there is no longer PCR/DPI test required for entering Abu Dhabi, so looking forward to see more Dubai and Sharjah members to join too. 11. Just to give u heads-up of this LC70, my personal fav 4x4. Short and nimble than your Patrol so you don't need to plan things half a km ahead. Ready for short unexpected change of plan/thinking - on the fly. You will feel every dune - bump, bush, dimple and crest - loud and clear. Absolutely NO creature comfort so you might have a sore back if Patrol cocoon cabin have spoiled you. You will feel real meaning on 4x4 tomo how each wheel spins with raw power than electronic/computer advisory. In short you might like it or hate it, depending on what you value the most. If its pre-2018 then its more crude as I heard after 2018 Toyota added tiny bit of comfort in these models. Pre-2012 was absolute bone-shaking models.

  15. You shouldn't use any compressor for inflating 8 tires non stop unless you let it cool off for 15 - 20 min atleast after 4 tires. Overheating due to crossing the duty cycle is number one reason for busting the compressors. It's more easy in hot weather to bust it.
  16. Sorry to hear that, but you can still join as the next fuel station or tire shop who can inflate are less 8-10 km from our end point. You can safely drive at 40 kmph speed with your deflated tires. Secondly more than likely tire inflating shops at big red (end point) will be working on Friday morning. If not you can drive at deflated tire for few kms. I have done that many times and for many kms as far as your driving at 40 kmph, you and your tires are fine.
  17. Looking forward to see you too @Davie Chase and it's always good to know the background. Hope you enjoy the sand here as the UK definition of off-road is way diff. Let's get your shiny Rubicon out to its natural habitat this Friday.
  18. Journey has already begun. Lost 3 kgs in 2 week, hope I can continue to survive without dinner. Thank you and hate u @Niki
