  1. Ford unveiled its first electric Mustang SUV Mach-E, to go head to head with other electric cars in market. $44,000 price tag for a 300 miles range seems good for electric segment. What do you guys think......?
  2. In my 2009 Trail blazer, one of the TPMS has gone bad showing the low pressure light on dash all the time. The only way I can think of removing each tire and open it to check all 4 wheels for the faulty one. Is there any other intelligent way to pick a tire that has faulty TPMS and just replace that one than checking all 4 tires. Oh btw, dash has single icon for low pressure and not for all 4 tires icon, its 2009, lolol.
  3. You should get comprehensive insurance from RSA and AXA easily, still double check and compare pricing.
  4. Have you checked these famous routes and places? It's not all offroad and mix with road and mountain tracks https://carnity.com/forums/forum/266-offroad-routes
  5. I dont know which year model Amit has, I just mentioned my wife 2009 model as an example of 10 years old still getting comprehensive, dont know till how long though.......!
  6. Such myth list goes on and on: Drive on LO all the time Drive on HI but in first and second gear all the time Install 10K suspension first before hitting the sand Put biggest possible tire with most aggressive looks and tread Install bull bar before hitting the sand Install snorkel, chip, turbonator, throttle spacer to be desert ready Give strong tug on every smallest refusal to demonstrate the strongest car Shovel and self recoveries are for idiots Why clear the sand when tow rope strong pull will do the job catch me if you can (said / unsaid contest) all the time
  7. Call RTA and ask for procedure to change insurance on the registration card. Its doable. Then cancel the current insurance and go for RSA or AXA insurance. Just before you cancel check with RSA or AXA if they offer you comprehensive insurance for your car model year, as they have certain rules depending on driver background and how many cars you have with them. I have 2009 model with comprehensive insurance, but heard from a friend that they are not offering comprehensive for more than 5-7 years of age of cars.
  8. Not long enough, if you drive good, seniors might promote you in next 4-5 drives rather than 10, which is an outline of the structure. There is no hard and fast rule here. If drivers are good, then they do get promoted early and vice versa for infrequent or slow learners. The only idea is to promote anyone at any level is when we are 100% sure that he/she is ready for the next level based on their drive skills, techniques, teamwork, and offroad gear.
  9. Very nice to hear that. As much as this extreme sport require skills, dedication and patience, it equally requires a team player to trust and watch each other back all the time. Well done @Halit Mert Issever keep it up.

  11. Well done guys, nice drive, nice video, nice weather and nice company.
  12. Yes everyone is doing well, thank god. Mohammed got the cops paper and it will be sorted soon with insurance. Does anyone spotted big dip or bush at 0.07 sec that bounced the car heavily....? Watch in full screen. Also intention to steer left than climbing up as desertdude rightly mentioned would have saved it completely. FJC in stock state is very tipsy, added with 3-4 inch lift is a recipe for disaster. We have mentioned and pointed same last week at Qudra exit and we never knew this could prove fatal so fast. Sad. However, such incident always remind all of us that every sport has some associate risk and soon we acknowledge, embrace and learn to stay clear from such risk, better it is for everyone.
  13. Due to some unforeseen situation, I won't be joining the drive tomorrow. @Rahimdad will lead the convoy and also welcome @Jamy B. to ride along.
  14. Now I'm really offended that why Delhi is not in the worst list. Been there few weeks back and first time I took Uber in my home town, so i can sit back than being a Gladiator. Abraham Lincoln and Internet...lolol....Good one.
  15. Nice detail reply @Jas Gajaria I just cant help about LC70 since I drove once and felt in love immediately, but that was long ago and that's the first 4x4 in my wishlist. Some day. Nissan Patrol (SWB) 2006-2012 is utter useless with bad gearing issue, after 2012 onward mated with 4.8 VTC is great. Jeep.....No comments.
  16. List 3-4 (only) all round 4x4 you think is the best for UAE offroad needs for sand (Desert) + Mountain. It should be based on your usage, research or seeing with your friends and family and not based on commercials or witnessing on Faya or Bidayer when you don't know if its 100% stock or highly modified. My List: LC 70 (SWB) - 2012 onwards Nissan Patrol (SWB) - 2012 onwards FJ Cruiser - 2010 onwards Nissan Xterra - 2010 onwards
  17. @Navinchandar and @alifaruqi welcome to Carnity offroad club, please share your previous offroad experience (if any) and car details. Also make sure that your 4x4 has front and back tow hook in good usable condition before joining any drives.
  18. But she never mentioned under 60K (16k USD). Probably game starts from 60K USD.
  19. Surely everyone can reach, but be very careful while turning down and steer down little early and smoothly (not sharp), as side stuck on wet sand is very difficult to recover and prone for mishaps.

    Funny video

I actually seen similar speed Filipino doing the tape wrapping for some Filipino courier truck under my building and I was like no robots can match this speed even.
