Seems like a good game from the promo, don't mind giving it a try to this spintires. Thanks for sharing this crazy off-road game. Maybe someday you can join us in real off-roading game too.

Yep, I also google that out of curiosity a few days back, but sadly most of the light were barely as good as phone light that can just show things in the night. The one I stick is almost equivalent to 100 - 200 phones flashlight and plus makes a perfect angle for camping light without dancing in the wind - earlier issue of the fishing pole and plus switch on/off in less than 10 seconds. P.S. God bless that white Nissan Patrol local for this idea.

As the heat started kicking in so it's time for the night season offroading. This week's drive will focus on newbie & fewbies getting comfortable with the day and night drive with or without off-road lights. Aiming to have an easy relaxed newbie drive from Tawi Nizwa to Pink rock area in a daylight and then a little bit in the night time. It's a perfect drive for newbies or an absolute newbie to learn and get comfortable in best terrain that gradually transforms and offer plenty of opportunities to learn. You can enjoy the sunset at the picturesque sand dune for the best selfie. During the sunset, we will take a break and enjoy evening snacks in some nice location and after that, we will start the night drive (newbie level) for a couple of hours. Thanks for the encouraging words @skumar83 but we both have learned from our good and bad experiences. No matter whatever situation or differences we share at times, we have one common thinking of not leaving anyone behind - no matter what. On the contrary, we two cannot change the world and the community and we have always been "very fortunate" to have great team players who understand this and reciprocates in the same manner. In last 12 years of offroad I have seen many people that no matter how much you care and give, the moment they step out on the tarmac and their behavior change and they forget everything. So we all are quite blessed with each other caring company as in this extreme sport we have nothing but each other support and trust to blindly believe and take a leap of faith. Every bad situation or break down we had, we all stayed together from 56 degrees in the heat to the middle of the night in the desert. This is what made all of us stronger and brings us closer to each other. And on the days when we have no issues, then eating together and sharing each other food, jokes and drinks make this community truly exceptional. Most of the offroad clubs here have a break and people open their snacks and eat it and barely share, and to me that makes me feel like sitting at a restaurant and eating my order. Thanks, Mohit I thought of same but steering leak is quite evident as its dripping and if the fluid is empty then steering has loud humming noise.

Thanks Sri, of course, my only drive will be from Saleem garage once he fixes the steering assembly straight to wasl testing center for retest and rta renewal. Hope my bad luck won't be good on that day.

So with new insurance in place, can I drive the car after 9th May 2018 without the RTA renewal and registration?

Hahaha, that's not what I was aiming for buddy by saying waiver. I meant do I need to inform them of this situation (delay) or simply paying fine is acceptable, as I know I missed the rta renewal date.

I know RTA renewal for the vehicle is for 1 year and it comes with 1-month grace until the insurance is expiring. Is there any fine if we exceed this 1-month grace by 2-3 days, of course, I will get the new insurance in place before the old insurance expires? I completely missed out on wifey Trailblazer rta renewal and sent for passing few days back and it got failed with leaking axle boot and brake light. Thought of getting all done today, and just came across a new issue that steering assembly is leaking, which has been already fixed earlier this year. My vehicle registration expired on 9 April 2018 and Insurance is expiring on 9 May 2018. Boot and brake light will be fixed today and I could have still done another passing and got everything sorted by today or tomorrow, but this new issue of steering rack leaking again might push few days beyond 9 May 2018, so what do I do now? Go to RTA renewal center and explain this and get some waiver for a couple of days or just pay the fine (if any).

SUV look mix of Patrol, Cruiser and Pajero sport and all depends of engine size and price to sell. If it comes with standard LS2 engine ready for duff duff I'm sure it will be hit for faya climbers, after all it says sandstorm so it should stand true to it's name. Logo could have been better imho.

Use cheque as a security for 5 days and pay bank by wire transfer and get all this agreed on email from seller as email these days can be use for legal cases.

I'm sure people using dubizzle for a long time knows all the above points, but it's a good read for new car buyers or sellers. Only thing I like to add: Email alert setting is sending one email a day and not as soon as the matching advert is placed. I was relying on that recently and once I missed a good deal as advert placed was 20 hours ago. Some dealers started behaving like real owners and asking you to visit malls or somewhere halfway to your office or home location for viewing, beware as no real seller will take a car to 100's of the viewer in a diff direction. Def smells fishy. You can add the last layer of negotiation after the passing or comprehensive test is done as that will show the real maintenance required in near future.

On that note, I will definitely suspect the tires at first because if tires are not balanced 100% properly this is an exact issue you will face of vibration or wobble after certain speed and then after more higher speed this vibration goes off. I strongly suggest going back to the guys who have installed tires and ask them to balance tires properly. This time stand on their head and make sure to see 0 and 0 on both sides of each tire even 5/10 and 0 will cause an issue, so force them to show 0 and 0 on their tire balancing machine for each tire. If they charge money for fixing their problem, better go to some reputed tire shop and get all 4 tires balanced like I said, it's gonna cost less than 60-80 dhs at max

Recently during our drive, I came across the genius uae local at Faya having a white Nissan Patrol with Whipple supercharger with open hood that was lighting the whole engine bay and all around. On a closer look, I found out that it was a regular camping light that usually comes with a fishing pole and wire with cig lighter cable and battery clip. This guy has wired the cable from battery to the hood and fixed the light inside the hood. Making it so simple to use while camping and also have awesome light in the engine bay if you need to work. Damn creative and genius idea. I have installed the same today (DIY) in less than 30 min with the light I'm carrying all the time for camping and most of the time too lazy to install as it takes a long time to set up and pack. I fixed the light first with 3M double-sided tape, but that experiment failed as after 15 minutes of hard pushing the light fall down and it was extremely hot. So instead I tried alternate route of keeping all wiring in place and stick the big magnet behind the light, so whenever I want light I can just stick the magnet under the hood and plug the socket. This way it's much safer and advisable, as if light falls in the engine bay and goes inside the fan then damage can be catastrophic.

Soundcard may not be faulty but it may not be compatible with Linux, as some hardware are OS specific or at least their drivers. So find the soundcard brand and see if you can find its compatibility chart to find Ubuntu and then download Linux driver - if it exists.

SUPERB observation @skumar83, this is exactly I feel that 75% cause of flip was 2WD and 25% being too fast for crossing the crest, and why he was fast is because of 2WD or else he will get stuck. @Rahimdad please reveal the truth now if we are right or not?
