  1. 517 Mile Range EV with more efficient motors and a higher voltage battery solution. Let’s see how Tesla will counter the competition. https://fb.watch/1Q-3bxyLum/
  2. For those of us with slower response time, automatic is better suited. I felt this when I decided not to play around with even the steptronic as the brief attention diversion to decide and switchover to the lower gear was impacting my drive quality. Just using the gas pedal to switch gears automatically improved my driving. However, the above does not affect those with sharper concentration and want more control in their hands.
  3. No need to test as it possibly activates in a very unstable situation while braking. If you didn’t experience it that is good.
  4. @Tero Vallas, by the way, I somehow feel that ABS doesn’t fully cut off as I occasionally hear the sound but no doubt switching the TRC and the Stability Control makes an immediate difference. I had the same issue on the first drive and not till @Rahimdad Bhai conveyed the 10 second trick did I know about the two functions from the same button. Will read up a bit more about the way ABS is affected by the two functions. In the meanwhile if any on Carnity have the knowledge to share, please do.
  5. A year into hibernation from Carnity drives, I decided to enjoy the desert with my friend @Srikumar and the Carnity brother/sisterhood. A very enjoyable drive with people having a common interest of an outdoor activity to liven up their weekends. The most amazing part is to see how Carnity has grown from when I joined it a couple of years ago. Its even more amazing how the Carnity leadership offers their weekends on a consistent basis, without monetary rewards, just to make others happy. Keep it up Carnity and thanks once again!
  6. I suggest if you can buy the camel brand double compressor that is around 300-350 Aed it is better. It should be available in Dragon Mall. Smaller compressors take much longer to inflate and will heat up quicker.
  7. My 2014 Prado requires the traction control switch to be pressed a few seconds to switch off both the traction control and stability control.
  8. Does anyone have any info on the airbag fuse location for Prado 2014? Is there any issues with removing the fuse in terms of engine management software if one removes the fuse temporarily?
  9. Rahim Bhai, I agree to your points but pls advise if a straighter tugging line be better . I do get that it will require the prado to be on an incline but the incline is not looking too high. What about tugging from the rear? Also I think the you mean the xterra tire direction towards towards the prado, right?
  10. Happy Birthday Emmanuel! Hope you have many more in good health.
  11. I believe Best Line Garage provided a solution for my Prado that allows me to connect the flag next to the roof rack rail. Its been a few years so please call them up and check.
  12. That seems right as my 4.0 prado is 7Km/litre average (urban+highway) in winters. Slightly less when returning from the desert ofcourse and during summers due to more AC usage. So may go down to 6K/ltr.
