Hi guys the upper glove box console lid has got locked and isn't opening does anyone have any idea on how to open that. It's only a press button lock which has got stuck I guess. Did any of you have the same issue in their Pajero before.

Hi guys we have just managed to fix components on my friend @Eric Pereira pajero (My Ex car) from Naif road where I have fixed the music system for all my cars as mentioned in my earlier posts. We fixed JBL components for front 2 doors and twitters on the side mirrors and also oval speakers on the rear which we connected to a 2 channel pioneer amplifier. The guys work is good as always and will share you his details incase anyone would like to get their music system upgraded. Very true @Barry I've had friends visit UAE and they too ask me the same question.

Auh number plate cars you can expect anything from them ( Nothing personal please just saying what I have seen in my 10 years in UAE) people texting while driving and cruising at their own pace. Changing lanes without using indicators. Flashing even if you drive at the dedicated road speed limit Worst is when you see children popping out the rear windows and parents not even bothered if they are corrected.

@derik that's a very tricky question asked by you it's an individual choice whether you want to learn something new driving with a off road club or go to the same places with same old friends. When you drive in our club you get to know people from different nationalities and different modes of life and learn from their experiences. At carnity we are a family more than a club. Having a flag is very essential when driving in dunes as its very difficult to judge the dept of the dune and also sighting a flag keeps you alert not to fly on or into another vehicle. i guess in this case the man was without a flag....hahahaha

Looks like he turned at the very last moment towards the left instead of going towards the right or down the slope and braked due to which he lost momentum and rolled over.

I have used a China lcd android unit (Dont remember the brand though)on my optra which costed me 350dhs 4 years back and its still going strong as the car had been sold to a colleague in office and I get to see it quite often. It has bluetooth,reverse camera,DVD,aux,USB functions in it. Except for navigation.

@Frederic wow that's an excellent explanation on the music system. I normally go for a basic pioneer or Sony explod single Cd player with aux and USB port and add a sub woofer and a 2 way amp for the sub woofer all connected by a monster cables and capsule near the battery terminals that helps me get a decent sound on my vehicle.

For upholstery the best place is sharjah as there are plenty of shops and rates are competitive due to this. i remember getting my lumina interior roof panel cloth replaced for 200 dhs and the look was exactly same as the original one. in dubai i was quoted 400 dhs for the same job. you can even try going to ajman near corniche area as there too they do a decent job and price as good as sharjah or at times cheaper.

hi @Sajith Kumar fixing a new model vehicle seat to the older model at times gets a little difficult as explained by @desertdudeseat connectors and wiring harness dont match and you may face challenges with the seat electrical's. I suggest if you go to any upholstery shop they should be able to re-cushion the seats and you can custom design it as per your taste and comfort level.This will also help you to revamp your interiors and you will end up paying much less then fixing in a new model seat and also struggling with getting the electrical s switches sorted out.
