Review from @Xaf after using the Mastercraft Courser AXT:

    My review after 10.000km usage:

    - Compared to H/T tires more noise on the road, acceptable.

    - Can go easily to 10 psi, didn’t try lower. No issues, hard core off-roading, sliding, wadis, till now no pop-outs/ cracks.

    - I found them quite heavy compared to my H/T, but my H/T were 285/60 18, the Mastercrafts 285/70 17. I feel difference in performance, need a bit more momentum on dunes.

    - Same company as coopers, same quality control. Price difference is probably to cover marketing costs for Cooper.

    - Looks cool

I have the same Mastercraft AXT but its 315s and the same feedback as @Xaf . I am usually on 10psi , but found it even better going at 8psi.  Needed more momentum up the dunes - so to sum up:

1- 35 Tyres on stock differential 3.73 = lose engine power
2- 35 Tyers on 4:10 differential = regain power lost

I am doing the 4.1 ring and pinion this week ( expensive option)  . Lets see how it performs coming week.

Shocking amount of times that this car rolled all the way down😧

Initially he didn't have enough momentum to go uphill, but then coming down i do not understand why he was playing so much with the steering wheel, he should have reversed straight down slowly.  I also noticed that people had to shout to get his attention, if he had a radio, people could have guided him down better. Then he braked really hard and the car started to roll. Another thing caught my attention was the fact that the driver was thrown out of the car so most probably he didn't have his seatbelt.

Yes that seat belt point is very important ! Well done !

The latest rumour today is that Vettel will be joining Aston Martin (currently known as Racing Point) to replace Sergio Perez in 2021.

Still a rumour .. could be the sponsorship and politics.  F1 is a bourgeoisie sport..for the rich boys to go up top

The cost of the V8 Jeep woul be around 250 to 300k if it ever comes to the UAE. I would stick to the bronco and probably put a bigger turbo to get more horses from the 2.7 engine

Lol all the resellers will buy out the Broncos and Al Quoz will be having Broncos at 400K  : ) Just like how the Jimny got inflated pricing

  5. I only see retirement as an option for VET - if he is looking only at Redbull and Merc., doubt there is a chance. Redbull as a company targets young urban male , vettel was apt for them when he was the youngest race winner, doesnt make sense to bring him onboard. Moreover not a good idea to pair with VER either - he will thrash him and end his career.

One of my neighbour is selling his  Jeep Wrangler  2003 model ( AMERICAN SPEC)  due to loss of job. I have a double mind of getting this. I would like to get advice from experts and those who are using the same type. There is no cover on top and no idea how much it will cost to get canvas or hard cover.

    https://uae.yallamotor.com/used-cars/jeep/wrangler/2003/used-jeep-wrangler-2-door-2003-1025113

I would also go with what Gaurav said.. I would not even look at this considering its American spec + 195k mileage.  Also a good condition hard top will cost you anywhere between 6k - 7k and refurbished maybe 3k-4k . Keeping this in mind there are many clean ones out there .. I have a friend who is selling his TJ 2006 for 25k odd ( engine / gear warranty and new AC system ) . If you are interested , I can ask him for more details.

Try manual shift, you will not be disappointed. good luck !

Just as @Febin Frederic said ..........@siddharth maheshwari Go tiptronic 1 or 2 on climbs , 3 on smooth . I need to get my vehicle calibrated though , and do the ring n pinion due to the larger tyres  - but you should be fine on stock tyres.

I wouldn’t recommend Pedal Commander. Your Wrangler has more than enough power and your throttle response issue is just yourself that needs to gel with the vehicle and it’s capabilities. A pedal commander might increase response time and will make your car feel more agressive behaving, but it also puts a lot more strain on the drivetrain components.

Make sure you’re well deflated on these days 12psi should be ok, going to 13-14 and higher and you’ll start feeling that you need to apply more power to make it through and will struggle more.

@Frederic have the pedal commander too , it seems fine .. but yeah never even dare to go at sport+ on that.. city +2 for me thats it

@siddharth maheshwari hope you are at that ( city +2 )
