  1. Stunning morning drive led by @Rahimdad with quite good achievements .. all NB up Fossil Rock without a single refusal and then crawl down on the rocky side of FR towards Faya through the mighty bowls up to the highest point of Faya.. not a NB itinerary that you see everyday .. thanks a lot @Rahimdad and thanks @Jasim Khumi and @Ahmed Wagdy for the wonderful support. very well done to the whole convoy for this fun and fulfilling drive.. great driving with you all and can’t wait for the next one.. enjoy the weekend and c u soon on the sand 🎢
  2. What an amazing afternoon thanks to @Foxtrot Oscar .. loved each part of the drive.. first half looked like we had these virgin never touched bowls just for ourselves and Angela enjoying leaving her mark on each one of them.. then 2nd half of the drive was like a party with many tourists occupying the area and driving flagless recklessly and leaving tons of garbage behind them ;(( amazing strong convoy hungry for every challenge thrown at them from the lead and never gave up.. very well done everyone and can’t wait for the next one @Foxtrot Oscar.. yalla 🤣
  3. @prajupramod thanks for being there and I was really impressed with you, @Osama Al Hamwi and @Rawad Bahsas for how smooth you all controlled your big behemoths.. well done @Larry Cadden @Ahmad Shaker @Hardik Mody @Trekado @Hossam Anwar @Danish Mohammad Thanks all for your great spirit and driving with us on the convoy today Special thanks for @Abdul Rahman Abdul Kader and @Jasim Khumi for your wonderful support to the convoy Last but not definitely least @Rahimdad thanks a lot for the great lead, wonderful route, and for allowing me to support the convoy today.. can’t wait for our next drive together.
  4. Thanks @Foxtrot Oscar for the nice and relaxed drive this afternoon.. everything was smooth with minor refusals here and there all managed with self recovery until the first pop out on @Hisham Masaad‘s FJ giving a chance to try his new toy; the battery powered hydraulic Jack which proved effective and easy to use.. pop out sorted out quickly to immediately face another one on @Foxtrot Oscar’s X which was also dealt with quite fast with the amazing team work of this wonderful convoy. As we were moving towards the exit, @Melenany’s F150 lost power on a ridge leading to a minor parallel stuck; as light was fading quickly we went directly to a quick tug to then make our way out to inflation point. I then was faced with a last recovery to my own black beast but luckily just as I parked in my garage and shifting the gear to park to find out the stick is completely lose and gear is not shifting! I had to give the beast a big kiss that this didn’t happen on the sand and she waited until I am physically inside my garage 😘😘😘. after a quick diagnostic found out that the pushing connecting the shift stick cable to the gear arm is almost completely vanished; I managed to connect them with a couple of cable ties which will enable me to drive the car to the garage in the morning to replace the pushing saving the need for a tow truck 😅 thanks again for these nice weekday drives @Foxtrot Oscar , thanks @GauravSonifor anchoring the convoy and supporting the recoveries. Thx @Ashok chaturvedi for a flawless 2nd lead .. my dear friend @David Ortells who is always a fun to drive with, @Hisham Masaad for the amazing skill and mastering of the different terrain. @Watteau first time to drive with you.. loved seeing the Rapter flying over the sand flawlessly @Rob Harper you drive your Tundra like a boss.. amazing control.. @Arda Yagcioglu and @AlexPol almost didn’t hear your voice for the whole drive which shows how well you drove without any issue.. hope you enjoyed it.. @Melenany hopefully your car is checked soon to avoid this issue with loss of power and we meet soon on the sand my friend.. thanks again everyone and hope to c u all on the sand soon.
  5. Dear @Thomas Varghese, it’s sad to see you quitting Carnity for this reason.. I always enjoyed driving with you. I am not here to justify any decision (have no clue what this is about) but my reflection is more touching what I feel of disappointment and stress caused by this delay in the promotion. Talking about my own experience, and I am sure many other fellow off-roaders will relate and echo, I started offroading in an attempt to steam out the continuous stress we live in due to work pressure and always chasing achieving “a thing” at work. The minute a hobby becomes a source of stress it loses all fun and lose passion.. I know, it is because of this strong passion we got hooked and want to be always on the sand and join as many drives as we can and continue advancing in the ranks.. but if we lose the balance it becomes in itself a source of stress and we are pushing it to be another job!.. These words are a reminder to myself not to spoil the fun and passion I have for this hobby without ruining it with pressure and stress so I continue enjoy it for as much as possible, meet new people and make friends (without benefits).. Hope to c u again on the sand and wish you all the best
  6. You nailed it @Foxtrot Oscar, both the drive and the report 😂 fully agree words can’t express the amazing crazy 🎢 of today.. can’t have enough of those.. thanks a lot.. and big applause to everyone .. you were all up to the game no matter what the headmistress through at you.. your are all great team to drive with @Francois Germishuys @MUHAMMAD Kashif RAZZAQ @siddharth maheshwari @David Ortells @Kailas @asifk @Gaurav Soni @Ilya Golubinsky @Ashok chaturvedi @Hisham Masaad
  7. Thx @Tbone, actually I managed to sign up for this one and it will be my first .. so we are good now.. c u then
  8. Thx @Lorenzo Candelpergher, however as I got a confirmation to join the IM drive I will be withdrawing from the WL.. thx again
  9. @Lorenzo Candelpergher, after seeing 10 drivers signed in already assumed RSVP is closed as usually it’s 10 cars for F+ so I added my WL request .. but then noticed RSVP is not closed so I opted in!! however realized others have WL before me.. I am not sure if it’s a system glitch allowing more than 10.. anyway I don’t want to takeover others who WLed before me.. all in the rush for finding a spot feel free to take me out for others ahead in the queue.
  10. @Wrangeld I was relying on Adnoc at last exit and was there 1:30 to find it’s closed for some reason so had to make my way back to ENOC at Akoya and then roundabout at the bike roundabout .. my ETA now shows 2:11.. so hopefully will make it.. apologize for this unexpected delay
  11. Thx @Chaitanya D @Kailas @varunmehndiratta @Gaurav Soni for an amazing drive and the nice company.. Definitely worth the minor hurdles to get to Abudhabi but nothing compared to what it offers back.. the short convoy was huge fun too thx @Chaitanya D for all the prep and not giving up on this drive week after the other.. well done @Gaurav Soni for managing the self recovery and hard luck @varunmehndiratta for miserably failing to get your wrangler stuck despite of hard you tried 😂😂
  12. I went last night for the test and was told they changed the validity to 24hrs now, that was after spending 90mins in the queue.. I plan to leave early and get the test then drive to the meeting location.. we meet at Adnoc Alsaad (854) 7:00am, right?
