  1. Happy to see another towing truck in the support team ! congrats Karthik
  2. 🙁I have sprayed grease on, should work for sometime. Literally I have physically fought with it for several occasions to get the pole off. I was so pissed
  3. Not sure if this is the right place to post but I want alert ppl who are going to buy offroad flags I have been using the below "press and twist" design flag base from Black Hawk brand recently, very unpleasant experience. 1. Sand/Dust gets in and stuck between the base and pole during offroad, difficult to remove after. 2. Feedback from other driver that the tiny dot which prevents the pole from falling out could break. Many offroad garages are selling this type but try not to get this crap 🙁
  4. Congrats @TT_Dubai for the promotion, So the wife finally approve your promotion request😎
  5. taken from the bottom of the death bowl
  6. There are thousands of dunes and bowls in the desert, but only safety takes us home. Even tho I was recording, I didnt realize that the LC flew over to the other side of the ridge and had some splash of sand. We are very fortunate that we have @M.Seidam @Hisham Masaad who both are richly experienced leaders and one doctor. The unfortunate event is well handled by both with the support from the Carnity family which I am honored to be a part of. And glad to hear that both Mohamed Anwer and the LC are back in the same day. Despite the unfortunate event, we did have some good time in the area. I finally got to do some nice bowls in Abu Dhbai, found out that the death bowl isnt too difficult for the Pathfinder, and realize riding the long ridge of the big bowls is one of my most exciting part of desert driving. Definitely need to come back again for the AD bowls! I wish a speedy recovery for @Mohamad Anwer both physically and spiritually, and look forward to riding the bowls and ridges with you soon!
  7. I initially had same thought as the output figures are identical, until I read someone saying its dual VVTi for Fortuner, and I looked up Toyota ae and found out they all have dual VVT-i mentioned on their performance spec ( Fortuner Hillux adventure LC70 series). we need to chop up a newer 1gr fe engine to find out🤡 https://www.toyota.ae/en/new-cars/hilux-adventure/4.0-l/
  8. congratulations @M.Seidamtruely deserved promotion! You have the exemplary heart of an offroader Have learnt so much from you and look forward to more!
  9. Thanks all for the help, tools, and patient waiting, The car is sent straight to garage, should know soon if the engine is still ok or not. Hope you still had a good drive later on😶😶
  10. There is green brand from Australia (club policy I cannot disclose the name) have decent accessories for Hillux, not sure about tow points but tow bar they do have.
