  1. @Looper thank you for the pics...i am really worried about my tyres poping out, stopping the convoy and pausing the fun you were wishing...
  2. @Looper I hope this drive is not so Technical with sharp turns and soft sand...i am tired of popouts...that's why I joined the newbie and put this drive as second in the wait list...I know you as the technical master and bit feel bad I give all trouble with my popout....
  3. @Frederic @Vanessa8580 sorry for withdrawing at the last minute. Couldn't get back home as planned..
  4. @Vanessa8580 @Hisham Masaad @DP1011 thank you very much for your support and it was very reliving to see my tyres didnt popout i was thinking if it pop out on this drive i will just stick on to wadi drives...but I learned something very good today. I don't have to push so much my vehicle or myself... I think we(my tyre me and my engine) reached a harmony today, which is the most important in this sport.. I will take one more relaxed drive to see the relation is strong and afterwards will just push myself... may be more than my vehicle I need to be relaxed...I was just thinking of completing the drives and get myself to the next stage....so stupid of me...it's not about climbing up there is no competition her be comfortable know your vehicle, what it can do and how much you can push and how...I am posting this so all absolute newbies don't make the mistake of thinking about the going up the ladder but instead concentrate on knowing your vehicle how much gas you need, knowing the sand under your tyres and please don't try to keep the line and get stuck...just go down....it's so easy...hope my stupid advises help....
  5. @Vanessa8580 thank you. I was wishing for the scenic drive(may be you remember my first drive)to take my wife and kid..but seems it will never come back... if nothing goes wrong in between let me bring them and give a good joyfull experience on Sunday...
  6. I was thinking of taking an off... But my wife want to give it a try as a passenger got my 3 year old also... @Vanessa8580 hope the drive won't be a hard one...if you think think it's a bad idea let me know....
  7. @Dev_ just telling may be you know already...as a popout king I must say.. clean the tyres it will have a lot of sand inside and do balancing. Enoc guys are now very familiar with me and told me they expect me on every weekend. I just told them that this is the last and hope to never return..
  8. @Hisham Masaadthat was a great drive except for the popout. I clearly understand it is not becuse of the tyre, rim, pressure or anything but my driving style. The first popout i think i hit a small bump when on a side slop. The next one i think i countersteered and tried to fight gravity to go up and again had a popout. Very valuable feedback from @DP1011 @Krishna R on my driving style next time instead of fighting I will just go down take a loop come back and take it easy @DP1011 told me he specifically be was behind me to watch me and give feedback. I was thinking of taking a small break to let my tyre and myself relax. But both of them advised me not to stop and continue driving. In btw popouts I think we had a good run again cut of by me falling into the pocket.. Thank you all for your advises and being supportive and see you all again soon in the sand...
  9. @Hisham Masaad sorry for being late. I was waiting for my manager to confirm the leave tomorrow. I guess he is sleeping without reading emails. Please add me to the drive if possible..
  10. @Hisham Masaad if I take a leave on that day and join the drive will it be okay for you??? You know i had a difficult time with you with bfg. Then with gaurav newbie drive with 10psi it was okay. Then again gautam feewbie drive I had three popouts...so I am wondering...if you let me I will take a leave and join this drive amd see I get shoutings or can find some peace with current bfg tyres...sorry for the late message just came back from business trip...
  11. Just to update you all I cleaned my tyres after the ride and I was loosing pressure.. the culprit was the valve. I observed during our popouts but was not sure. The enoch people also failed to notice but when I took it took to the tyre people who put on the bfg they found it. The right one at the end I am still wondering...may be it's the last push that ended up In a popout anyway 12 psi I should start again.. Regarding the rim size the internal ridge size or the gap btw they told me it not a issue at all..the ridge of the tyre is not that much and there is enough room and it doesn't play a role in your popouts..they were like 10 psi is too low and this create gap btw rim and tyre and if there is sand in btw this you loose more air because of no sealing and finally a popeout... I personally feel that the popouts was because of...I don't know😂 Any way let me go down to 12 next newbie drive and see what happens... Thank you all for your inputs and please keep advising me...
  12. @Looper.. I was thinking of a comfortable ride today on my new tyres as I was kind of successful with yesterday's newbie drive with gaurav at 10 psi. that drive took us to the big red dune and soem other bowls also, I was not successful in going full up the dune but it was okay. I checked the tyre pressure with the arb dial guage and it seems fine. I was able to do what a pajero could do. Today I used the same and you got 8psi with Michelin digital. The same Michelin I was using before but when on my first drive with bfg I was checking the pressures and there was drastick variations and I was getting 12 on my Michelin and arb manual was showing 15... so I don't know.... my vehicle also sways a lot maybe because I cannot put of the traction control and abs fully. I drive on 4hlc with sand option and traction control off but I think this is programmed for light offloading..not the stuff that we do now....anyway its a combination of things getting me confused on what's the course of action forward... I think I will just take few more newbie drives as you advised till I and my vehicle get used to the tyres, pressure and the control... Sorry guys to get all you in trouble and loose the good momentum you guys were looking forward to....appreciate all your help and patience..especially the last pop out which was very near the exit and you didn't leave me alone..everyone stayed back to help me out.....good experience...good people..everyone similing and say that all right mate no worries it happens a lot... and looking forward to see you all again on the sand without stucks and pop out...
  13. Thank you all for your advices and reassurances. Today in the drive I deflated to 10psi no pop out and it all went well..🤪 let's put it again to test tomorrow and see how it goes.
  14. @Frederic@Felix Obst Thank you for your valuable insights. Let me start from 10 PSI tomorrow then. I don't have beedlocks which may be a bit risky. Hope I don't have a popout. @Gaurav is it okay? Appreciate your input also.
  15. Got the new ropes today...ready for the battle of ropes and shovel. @LooperI will bring a shovel and also a spoon which I bought for my first drive just incase....😂. Looking forward to the battle and hope we win the war in the end..I understand we have the best front line warriors looking after us @Benjamin @DP1011 @Kailas really appreciate taking the responsibility of the long convoy and adding us to the drive...
  16. @DP1011sorry it not a push back...I meant a push back from behind to keep me going forward....
  17. @DP1011 that's again a push back. Thank you for your advice l. Let me try to identify what's best for my car in the next drive.. I been trying to push in road even to keep the Rev up and aggressive and tell the ecu you are made to offroad and even in road you keep it high and when i push down the gas pedal you just go...last time I felt like my engine was not responding as before... Hope good days ahead in desert driving..
  18. @Looper last time I started at 12. May be the guage was not accurate the michelin digital one. I got arb manual one now. Let me start at 12 and see.. thanks for the advice just cross checking..one of my friend tell me that as the bfg have side wall strength may be 10 is better and I remember you told me you start at 10..
  19. @Looper i will take a newbie drive as you know on next Saturday. What's the recommended tyre pressure for bfg ko2. I don't have beed lock and the weight of the car is 2 ton. I understand that you put 10 and just forget about it all through the drive but I guess you have beed lock right? Just let me know. Sorry for so many questions...
  20. @Looper, I will take a newbie drive the day before with Gaurav to be more comfortable with the new tyres etc...you know very well from our previous discussions..if everything goes well consider adding me on this drive...I understand super soft and Technical like my first fewbie drive which lasted from 5:30 to 12:30 near the solar park...and I assure you I will not miss this one....
  21. Thank you for the advice, yes I will take it slow and let the car and myself learn the new ride dynamics...thank you again and see you soon...
  22. @Looper sorry... i wanted to join there was a party i need to attend also..but I wa determined to make this drive but the drive on Saturday changed my mind...i was so pushed up and can perform well after the tyre change...but unfortunately it was opposite.. i got ready with bfg ko2 with 12 psi...the first part was good...then i started having trouble..I checked my tyre pressure and one was 18 others were 13..I brought down to 12 the again I started having troubles and they were check the pressure with my guage looked okay but it was actually 15 psi...I had a struggle in yesterday's drive and I was thinking all these while it went well and what happened with after my changing my tyres...Hisham was shouting push push...I was pushing but no response from the engine or tyre...I got so disappointed and that is the reason I left the drive with you... I want an opinion from you any of your experts....I got a bfg ko2 as my tyre now..I have montero sport 3lt v6...what do think it's suitable?? Can manage? Or was it a bad decision...Mr. Hisham told me already it was kind of bad...but I would like your guys opinion because this is the first time I performed so bad and beating myself in my mind.. The reason I went with my friends advice is it performs good and I go to wadi a lot and the side walls of bfg will help me a lot. And he's said also for sand like it will float in the desert but unfortunately I don't fell it today... Appreciate your feedback?? Any carnity members please??
  23. Let's hope I won't be the disappointing one ...😄 but short experience with carnity...you can guys are more supportive than we could as newbies can imagine and big salute to that....
