I watched the videos behind the design of this cylinder head and found it very interesting. 

Does anyone remember glass spark plugs that used to let you see the color of the flame inside the combustion chamber? They were used for tuning purposes.

@Barry Honestly this is the first time I saw anything made of glass, I had no clue there were glass spark plugs, would like to see ad learn though.

I had forgotten the name of them. Color tune plugs. I've only ever actually seen one person using them and he was a proper old school mechanic who had been working for over 40 years.

You are right- they were called Colour Tune Plugs, and I used them in the days of carburetors, and especially on Alfa Romeos and Triumph Chicanes to balance the carbs.

For some reason they went out of fashion rather quickly, and I have not seen one for many years now. Probably a good thing, because the voltages in modern ignition systems will likely burn their electrodes away in two seconds.
