how should that have been recovered??

(assuming pulling from the back would have been better as it was slightly lower than the front allowing the car to pivot about the heavier end of the car)

or hold/pull with a winch from the top, realign along the slope and allow controllled decent?

For this one I would say climbing like this slow in a slip phase will very quickly build up sand wall against the right sided tires ( in this example ) that a very little momentum will topple it . Solution is ATTACK 😄

Very good Sandeep in another words I would say

1. first of all ( this situation particular ) anchor the car from above by two equal points to acheive control descend .

2. remove the sidewall sand

3. Use long rope ( 2 , 3 or even 4 ropes ) connected by shackles this will make the recovering car to be positioned accurately in proper angle

Turned so sharp the forward motion was changed to sideways (centrifugal) force very sudden, and as the front wheels had no more traction they couldn’t ‘pull’ the car forward anymore so it quickly lost even more forward speed. Sharp ridge meant quick build-up of resistance digging the side in, not just the back wheels.

@Luke K P, some great learnings from that clip.

Needed to stabilize the car on the ridge, transfer the weight over to the slip face. Only then turn down onto the slip face to complete the maneuver.

@Herman G great observations from your side on what he did wrong. I have tried to explain how the maneuver should have been carried out.
