Afternoon Support Team - Recovery Champion Training - 21 Dec 2024

Recommended Posts

Getting stuck and unstuck is an integral part of the off-road journey.

Getting unstuck with minimum effort, tools, gear and time is an art.

To teach the real art of recovery we need a stand-alone training session so that support team members can learn the basics, tricks and techniques with complete peace of mind.

What you'll learn:

  • How to control the stuck scenario
  • How to self-recover yourself
  • When and where to dig and where NOT to dig
  • How to help others to help themselves recover safely
  • How to safely recover with a tug on a crest
  • How to recover from a crest without a tug
  • How to fix tire pop-out / change
  • How to safely recover on a side slope with or without a tug
  • How to use the winch effectively
  • How to deal with vehicle overheating
  • How to exit broken down vehicle
  • How to deal with extreme recoveries
  • Recover the vehicle without tow points
  • First-Aid response
  • Firefighting response

Hi @Vijay Cowlagi I have removed you from this training RSVP, as its only for support team and above.

I think you have done Recovery Champion course with me in Abu Dhabi in 2022, If I rem it correctly. Its almost same as that course.

Let's root for each other & watch each other grow.

Thanks @Gaurav and friends. This was very informative the practical scenarios where helpful. As you said at the outright, to help fill in the gaps and remove some of the not so helpful techniques. Jotting down notes today while they are still fresh.
Take care and for those observing, have a Merry Christmas.
