Please confirm:

- Car make, model, color

- Confirm you have 10-inch front and rear ground clearance 

- Your car is All or 4wheel drive 

- You have fitted and fit for purpose solid front and rear tow hooks

- Please share your previous offroad experience (if any)

- Please confirm you have completed the reading material and watched the video in the main drive post prior to joining the drive

- Please also confirm you have a radio programmed to all 9 Carnity channels and safety flag.

@Steffi I see you have already posted previously on one of Fred's newbie drives that you were unable to attend, I recommend you refresh yourself with the video, there may be questions at the briefing tomorrow

Hi all, v excited to join this group. I've done a couple of desert drives with dune runs before. I use a white 4x4 Fortuner v6. 

The car does have tow hooks, I have a flag and the required 10 inch front and back ground clearance. Yet to finish watching the introductory video and programming the transmitter. 

Will update the thread once I'm done with the programming and watching the video.

• Please read the pre-drive information below:
  • Be ready at the meeting point by 7:00am (or before) with tires deflated and flag up.
  • Please ensure your programable radio is on, fully charged and set to Channel 4 (446,081).
    • Please also ensure your radio is pre-programmed to all 10 Carnity Channels in case we have to move channels at some point during the drive

  • For first timers to Carnity, please complete all of the mandatory readings and watch the video (accessed from the link below) before arriving at the meeting point for this drive, there may be questions  .

  • A full pre drive briefing for the drivers will be conducted on the sand before we start moving your full attention will be required. 
  • Please ensure everything in the car is tied down and there are no moving objects,
    • Ensure that you are using cargo straps and not bungy type restraints to tie your gear down.
  • Please check all car fluids (Oil, Coolant, Screen wash Brake Fluid,etc),
  • Tow hooks are mandatory front and rear and ensure no hanging parts below the chassis.
  • Please ensure you come with a full tank of fuel (as near to full as possible).
  • Ensure you have all the necessary gear for this drive level especially your tire deflator, pressure gauge, compressor, first aid Kit, fire extinguisher, safety flag and radio. (NO FLAG or RADIO = NO DRIVE)
