DRIVE PLAN

A regular rerun of the drives we did few times in the past. We meet a little ahead of Badayer Shops and drive straight ahead, with the war cry "Yalla Push". It will be a short quick drive. we will start at 7:45 and end by 10:00 so that we can inflate and leave the area by 10:30.

We request every member who joins this drive to go through the information below and strictly follow these guidelines, etiquette, and responsibilities.

DRIVE DETAILS

Level:  Intermediate and above
When: 15 Mar 2025, Saturday
Meeting time:  7:00 AM - Sharp

Approximate finish time: 10:00 AM
Type of Car: Any proper 4x4 with front and back tow hooks and 8-10 inches of ground clearance.
What to bring along: Loads of water, snacks (for yourself), smiles, enthusiasm, and willingness to learn.

RECOMENDED OFF-ROAD GEAR:

• Tire deflator & Tire pressure gauge
• Compressor (MANDATORY)
• Walkie-talkie radio (MANDATORY)
• Off-road flag (MANDATORY)
• Shovel, Tow Rope & 2 Shackles
• First-aid kit
• Fire extinguisher

LIMITED SPOTS AVAILABLE

• This drive is limited to 10 cars only. RSVP will close on Saturday - 12 PM.
• If the RSVP is full, you can add your name to the waitlist, once anyone drops, you will be moved to the RSVP list.
• RSVP will close a day prior to preparing a convoy list.
• Latecomers will be returned - Without any exceptions.
• Members without RSVP will be returned - Without any exceptions.
• Please withdraw your RSVP, if you aren't joining, so your spot can be taken by others.
• Repeated no-show members after RSVP will have their account suspended for a month.

Typo with regards to time

Guess that’s a typo, start the drive at 7.45 am.

I have now corrected it. I copy pasted the details from last Quick Fix Badayer Drive and it was in summer so the sunrise was at 5:30 ish. It will still be warm now a days. 

I would request all to arrive before 7:00 and move as soon as possible ~ 7:00- 7:15

November last year I did a solo run through Badayer from the starting point to Shuwaib. On my way I found some nice clean dunes throughout, and we would try to follow that track this week. I would skip the big attractions - we have done them many times already so we will skip by them. The actual moving time will be approx. 2 hours - it will be quicker & will test not only your car's but your endurance as well. Please be rested well and arrive fresh.

Arrive by 7:00 am or earlier and be ready maximum by 7:15 when we will move on.

Following will be our convoy order. We will be driving on Ch 2.

Agree on skipping the big attractions but also if possible those crowded areas where other convoys are all over the place crossing our paths to go up the tall dunes. We know what we do but what the others want to do is unpredictable and it becomes a high risk.

Really nice drive again, thank you, @Looper - straight into the desert from the start point and some nice climbs along Badayer’s taller dunes. Bit of traffic along the way but nothing too crazy. We had good lines which allowed us to keep the speed up, leading to this fun moment…
