DRIVE DESCRIPTION

Welcome to Carnity off-road club - Fewbie drive!

Join us for an exciting off-road adventure as we gather at Sweihan, nestled in the stunning Abu Dhabi desert. Our journey begins in the morning, heading toward the iconic Nagra Hill.

During this drive, I’ll also be scouting the area for trash and litter, as it was quite messy during my last visit. I plan to mark the locations and organize a cleanup drive in the near future to help preserve the beauty of our desert.

Please ensure your off-road gear matches your rank, and bring along plenty of enthusiasm and a strong desire to learn and grow your skills.

To make this experience safe and enjoyable for everyone, we kindly ask all participants to carefully review the guidelines, etiquettes, and responsibilities outlined below and to follow them diligently throughout the drive.

Drive Details

Level:  Fewbie and above

Meeting time: 06:30 AM (SHARP - Without any exceptions)

Type of Car: Any proper 4x4 with front and back tow hooks and 8-10 inches of ground clearance.

What to bring along: Loads of water & snacks (for yourself), smiles, enthusiasm and a willingness to learn.

Mandatory off-road gears: Newbie and above, Tire deflator, tire pressure gauge, compressor, walkie-talkie radio, off-road flag, shovel, first-aid kit, fire extinguisher, Intermediate and above, Tow Rope and 2 soft Shackles.

Note: Please ensure that all of your off-road gear is securely tied down with ratchet straps in the rear compartment of the vehicle. Bungy type tie downs are not suitable for tying down off-road gear.

Approximate finish time: 10:00 - 10:30 AM

P.S. Only join if you have a compressor to inflate your tires after the drive.
 

LIMITED SPOTS AVAILABLE

• This drive is limited to 10 cars only. RSVP will close on Friday - 1 PM.
• If the RSVP is full, you can add your name to the waitlist, once anyone drops, you will be moved to the RSVP list.
• RSVP will close a day prior to preparing a convoy list.
• Latecomers will be returned back - Without any exceptions.
• Members without RSVP will be returned back - Without any exceptions.
• Please withdraw your RSVP, if you aren't joining, so your spot can be taken by others.
• Repeated no-show members after RSVP will have their account suspended for a month.

Whether you're a seasoned driver or new to the trails, this convoy is about supporting one another and enjoying the ride.

 

All drivers are kindly reminded to make sure the fuel tank is in full before reaching the meeting point and carry essential off-road gear to ensure safety. Don’t forget extra water, snacks, sun protection, and a fully charged radio. We will use channel 4 (446.081).

Thank you @Ishak for a great drive this morning. Well paced, with a nice variety of terrain. 
I enjoyed particularly the first hour, starting with smooth easy ridges, growing progressively to higher dunes in the beautiful morning light. Excellent choice!

It was a pleasure to meet everyone after a long break !

A bit of late drive report 🤣...

Thanks a ton for joined this drive! Honestly, for a summer drive in Sweihan, this was a pretty big convoy, and that made it even more fun.

We kicked things off with some smooth sideies and small ridge riding on a super clean track, warming up nicely before reaching our first break point at a scenic hill, perfect spot to chill and laugh a bit.

After that, we pushed toward the higher dunes near the Pillion Track. Looked tempting, but we decided to leave that adventure for the next drive 😅. Around there, @nithish468  had to head out early, while the rest of us carried on toward Nagra Hill. Instead of the usual climb, we circled around and attacked it from the backside. Some of you wanted to reattempt but we decided to keep it for the next drive 😅again. I owe you for this @Mei Ling.

We wrapped up with a smooth and scenic exit track, wrapping things up smoothly.

Shoveling and pulling are part of learning, however we did not have a chance for this, as everyone drove like pros! 🫡
