Below is report from another friend of ours at another club 

 

 

Hello friends 

On my way to the season opening event, I got stopped by an officer from Madam police station.. and they confiscated my car..

Here is their final decision…

- 3 month of impounding.. payable for 3000 AED per month (9000 AED)
- 5000 AED government fine
- 1000 AED RTA fine
- ⁠12 Black points

I have to go to Al Dhaid police station tomorrow morning to deal with these one by one… 
They have confirmed any modifications on normal or offroad cars are illegal in Sharjah territory.. even if its legal and registered in Dubai or Abu Dhabi…
They clearly told me not to come with any of the Jeeps or Y61 to Sharjah.. Madam and Meliha road are really sensitive areas..

I have to add everyone in that police station was really helpful and kind.. but rules are rules!
