Afternoon Newbie Desert "Drive & Trek" - Lisaili - Dubai - 29 Nov 2025

We’re introducing a new "Drive & Trek" concept that combines relaxed off-roading with light trekking for us and simple games for the kids.

With the winter weather finally here, it’s a good chance to step out of the car, stretch our legs, and let our families enjoy the outdoors with a bit of fitness and exploration.

We will start with an easy-level drive toward Lisaili dunes, enjoying the cool weather with scenic dunes. Once there on top, we will park up and spend roughly half of the drive time on foot with:

• A short trek up the dunes for those who want a bit of adventure.
• Simple, kid-friendly games like football, tag, frisbee, or tug of war.
• Family Photo “viewpoint challenge” for the best family picture from the top.

Bring your energy, your family (kids of all ages), a football or frisbee if you have one, and let us make the most of the winter season in the dunes together.

 

We request every member who joins this drive to go through the information below and strictly follow these guidelines, etiquette, and responsibilities.

First time with Carnity Off-road Club:

• Please share your vehicle details - Make, Model, Color, and Year.
• Please share your prior off-road experience.
• Confirm your vehicle has front and rear tow hooks/eyelets.
• Confirm you have a programmable radio and safety flag.

Drive Details

Level:  Newbie and above (all levels)

Meeting time: 2:00 PM

Type of Car: Any proper 4x4 with front and back tow hooks and 8-10 inches of ground clearance.

What to bring along: Loads of water, snacks (for yourself), smiles, enthusiasm and willingness to learn.

Approximate finish time: 6:00 PM

P.S. Only join if you have a compressor to inflate your tires after the drive.
 

LIMITED SPOTS AVAILABLE

• This drive is limited to 12 cars only. 
• Please withdraw your RSVP, if you find you are unable to join, so your spot can be taken by others on the waitlist.
• If the RSVP is full, you can add your name to the waitlist, if an RSVP attendee removes themselves, you will be moved from the waitlist to the RSVP list as an attendee.
• A convoy list will be sent out the day prior to the drive.
• Latecomers will be returned back - Without any exceptions.
• Members without RSVP will be returned back - Without any exceptions.
• Repeated no-show members after RSVP will have their account suspended for a month.

@Gaurav I was just telling my wife how cool it would be to have a family drive where we dont sit in the car for quite so long for the little ones. I have two young daughters that would love the adventure but I haven't gotten them on a Carnity drive yet - hoping there will be a spot for us to sneak on later in the week.

Rest all is the same for drive and kids activities, but for us, we will climb dunes instead of trekking the pink rock.
