Friday Early Morning Drive

Anyone interested in conducting an early morning drive this coming Friday. Looking for a volunteering leader and minimum 2 Cars to have the drive on.

Plan is as follows:

1. Meeting Time: 6:30 am

2. Starting Drive: 7:00 am

3. Ending Drive: max 9:30 am

Drive is on and open for more participants

Plan is as follows:

Meeting Time: 6:30 am

Meeting Point: Emarat Petrol Station ( Kalba Road)

GPS Coordinates:25°14'3.54"N 55°34'26.59"E which is a petrol station just after the Dubai Bypass rd on the way to fossil rock.

Starting Drive: 7:00 am

Deflation Point: Leave it to leader but must probably (Exit Interchange 3)

Ending Drive: max 9:30 am

Level: Easy + (as per attendees driving skills and cars capabilities)

Requirements:

Adequate recovery equipment (Shovel, Jack Lift, Wooden Board, Spare Tire, Air-compressor, towing rope and shackles rated ones)

Radio (Talky-Walky) if you have.

Have enough water for yourself and passengers if any and some light snacks for the road. ( You can buy those from petrol station)

It's quite early Tempted though... There are two other drives for that weekend planned. One on Friday 12.30pm and the other one 7.30am on Saturday. Not sure which one I join, but will figure out asap!

My only problem for this weekend, that I have work every Friday and Saturday is a family day that I can skip few hours in the morning. Yet for this weekend, I have to drop some family members at Airport at 7:00 am on Saturday and therefore, it will be very hard to catch the fun. For that reason I am keen on any drive in the morning this Friday as a yearend Closure!

i could lead a drive this friday in the desert if you can find at least 2 other cars (i never hit the sand with les than 3 cars) its ok in these winter months but its a rule i have so i will not break it.

see how many you can get, i can leand anything from never been to the desert upto absulutly insane i didn't know it was possible for a car to do that!

I promised to a friend for a desert ride this weekend

let me check with him he has a LR3 as well

so 2 LR may join to this ride ( crossing fingers this time and trying to forget last weekend )

i will post this trip on the land rover owners club UAE (facebook) go and join if you havent yet, but we will keep this trip open for all cars
