As the weather is getting better, let's have an easy fewbie level drive from Lisalli fort to Qudra lake and end up with a relaxing get-together or bbq session if anyone like. The beauty of this area, the wide open dunes, and with the occasional sighting of wildlife like gazelles and oryx are all reasons to set your pulses racing. The plan would be to meet up at 2:00 pm as per the below link and then head out to have some awesome fun through terrain that will leave you wanting more, and we will end it with a good spot to sit around Qudra lake and have a BBQ session with chats about the drive, general talk and share some jokes. Burnouts maketh the man

Recommend pressure should be on a sticker inside the door or on the back of the petrol flap. Higher pressure will give better fuel mileage. Pump it up to around 60psi and you can do burnouts easy 😬

I've worked on continental before. They're basically a reshelled VW Phaeton, same W12 engine. Very simple engine to work on once you know your way around it. It's more or less 2 VW VR6 engines stuck together with twin ECUs, one for each side. Many parts are interchangeable with VW so parts are available and not as expensive as you would think. Things to look out for, Electrics. This car has a LOT of electrics. Test every knob and switch, windows, roof, everything. Coil packs. There was a bad batch of VW coil packs out for a while. Most should have been replaced by now but it's worth checking. Bad coil packs will cause stuttering under load so try some heavy acceleration and make sure it pulls well through all the gears. Keyless entry system can give problems so make sure the car locks and unlocks automatically. If it doesn't work it's either a faulty antenna (cheap) or needs new transistors soldered into the control board (very cheap). Listen for knocking sounds from the front end. Drop links can wear out fast but they aren't expensive or difficult to replace. There is a vacuum hose at the back of the engine that breaks. With the engine running, gently pull on the vacuum pipes at the back of the engine and listen for hissing sounds. If this pipe is broken, the engine has to come out to repair it. All in all, they are a nice, luxurious, comfortable touring car. Just make sure you get a good one and get a good mechanic who knows about them.

It was certainly fake and that's where they didnt bother to get another fake part to backfire more and alsoi couldnt ordered original one as that must be expensive then this fake part and now if they charge more fpor genuine part then surely get caught.

For me, it was faulty when it wasn't working and when after the complaint they fail to provide credible proof to SEDD and agree to refund than replace it become fake too. If it was original, then they could have simply replaced it from their source. In reality, god only knows what integrity Al Qaswa Spare parts have and time will tell more in detail if they continue to survive with such ethics and pathetic customer service.

Well, Al Qaswa Auto Parts were requested to submit the proof of their purchase of that part and they submitted that in the plain white paper without any name of shop/dealer/agent of Mitsubishi. I assume some action must have taken here from SEDD. After that Sharjah Economic Department officer requested me to call the shop again for seeking the immediate resolution. I was fine for seeking a replacement either as I still need it, but Mr. Boban told me over the phone that they can't order again so they will refund my money. When I visited them for returning, they literally forced me to sign on paper saying - Reason of return: "customer no need" instead of "not working". Salesman: Rajesh was very aggressive, rude and disrespectful in throwing paper around when I wrote: "not working". Wasted my time in argument and when they saw that I won't sign that crap, and was ready to leave the shop they accepted me to sign on the genuine cause. I really don't know what action SEDD has taken or planning, as I just reported my side of incidents to them and they closed my case after that with an email and SMS confirmation.
