  1. @munkybizness@Rajesh NG@Ahmed Wagdy@DanielN@Richard Franks@Hisham Masaad@Frans M @Tom V@Marketa Dobesova@Pacific@Andrei S@Looper Another great morning out with a fantastic convoy of passionate offroaders ! I am glad to be able to get people to join in these drives ! They relax me more than any desert drive does and allows us to traverse different sets of terrains and keep it doable in this hot weather. We started from Al Daid Fort, which was our ancient supply route which we wanted to emulate and traced a route to Dibba Al Hisn with various types of terrain. As i wanted to start the drive at 25psi this was initially very doable but once we reached the soft sandy areas where we could not use available farm tracks, it proved to be a bit too high, so we brought it down to 20psi or 15psi and continued the drive. This drive took us through various tiny villages as well, where not a lot of life was seen. I can only think the villagers were on the couch watching Netflix as that's about the only sane thing to do around noontime in this weather It was a great feeling to finally reach the beach and get a shot with my Carnity family ! You guys and gals made it so much fun ! Great support from @munkybizness @Looperand @Pacific to guide us safely through the streets and deserts. Thanks guys really appreciated ! A short relive video can be found below: https://www.relive.cc/view/v8qkpkVV3Kv See you all soon in the sands / streets / deserts again !

  6. Thanks everyone for the fun excursion and beautiful drive. A bit more fun in the sand than anticipated, but all is good once we go below 25psi Forgot to pause the stops where we saw things, but pretty indicative of the drive's magnitude!

  7. Really nice drive , I enjoyed the technical terrain a lot @GauravSoni and only ran into one turn that I had to do the old, stop and reverse to make the tight turn, of course my rear bumper took a few more hits, a metal one is in my future. great to catch up everyone . See you at ARB @Stumpy Paj @Benjamin @Joseph Raju any update on the patient , electrical or mechanical issues ? @Ahmad Nerat great photos and ideas on positioning the cars for a photo shoot , while the rest of the convoy was in recovery mode. that was a fun area.

  8. Great to meet you too @Ahmad Neratand look forward to seeing you on future drives. Thank you to @GauravSonifor executing a very unique and enjoyable drive. If it wasnโ€™t for the โ€œcommentators curseโ€ at the end it may have been a uneventful morning however itโ€™s those last moments which is what makes these drives so enjoyable as everyone bands together to help each other out. And as you can see from the map below we were true as could be in holding 24.8 degrees. Next trip is 24.8 degrees squared ๐Ÿคฃ

  17. I like your calm & composed handling of the senior LC 76 ๐Ÿ‘๐Ÿป, treating it as a precious gem being navigated through a fun journey to reach the rewarding exit ๐Ÿ† . I'm still at the euphoria phase after getting my LC 100 back, especially with the Unichip and open cone air filter removed, so at times I push too much on the throttle worrying I don't have enough speed when in fact i have enough ๐Ÿ˜‚ Great driving together, until next time, fellow LandCruiser ๐Ÿซก

  20. @Zedthanks a lot. This information definitely helps me and others. The was sand in Throttle control and valve body. The Valve body needs to be replaced under warranty but the dealer does not have it in stock and will take 25 days to procure it from US. They have done the transmission fluid flush. Well every car has its day. We know what happened in Umm zamool drive of Sri.

  25. Dear Friends, I am looking for advice to protect my car paint in long drive from UAE to Salalah or UAE to Saudi. I see people use to put some sand color spray protection when they travel long by road to protect car paint. Second option I heard about is to use Rust Oleum Rock Gaurd spray paint that develops a thick transparent or color layer which could be removed later. Third common thing used by Saudi frequent travelers to pour Lux Dish Washer on bonnet n bumper etc. Please advise what is best method to temporarily protect the paint in such desert road drives?

  26. Something like this perhaps: https://www.calcarcover.com/product/xpel-tracwrap-temporary-paint-protection-film/4494 Iโ€™d be very cautious about applying a kind of spray as it might burn into the original paint and leave Permanent damage.

  27. Great drive, with great convoy, kept moving, without any shovel and tug. Everyone was on time, deflated and ready for briefing. Started moving towards pink rock, where we climbed, and all made it to the top easily, and from first attempt. After that started moving towards big red, all went nicely. Only few refusals, managed in no time, with the guidance of great support of @DP1011 and @Sunil Mathew . Thank you very much Deepak and Sunil. Glad to meet new members @Deepak Eswar @Cristian @george charbel @Juan R who did great. Nice meeting you again @Rk ram @Nadeem Ansari . Thank you @Abdelghani for great SL. Below screen shot of the drive today. Nice weekend.

  31. Hi @DanielN ! The scenic drives are very similar to overlanding. This time we wonโ€™t be spending too much time in the dunes but head out further into the mountains and thereโ€™s a bit of tarmac also involved to get to the point where we need to be.

  32. Well Done @GauravSoni , with a Total Ascent of 520 meters and Max Elevation of 300 meters, for sure you have created one of the most exhilarating track for an Intermediate that starts from As-Saad nearby ๐Ÿ‘ฎโ€โ™‚๏ธ police station and ends in An-Nabbagh ๐Ÿช camel race track nearby Paratta Street cafe ๐Ÿ˜œ I'm amazed what you've pushed your 3.8L Pajero through, truly a testament that the right driver knows the strategies to get through the terrains he has experienced ๐Ÿ‘ For those Intermediaters who want to re-live the experience, save this coordinate: 24.29542, 55.59138 That is the coordinate for the highest dune we climbed at 277m @Vaibhav sorry about your Jeep, you can tell Trading Enterprise (or Western Motors) that the Error Code it was throwing was Transmission Error P0776 that triggered Limp Mode P2110 and P2118. You can save the article below to reset your Electronic Throttle Body to get out of Limp Mode next time. But it seems you have Transmission issue, solve it in the order: 1) If under warranty ask for Transmission Replacement, the whole gearbox + valve body 2) If dealer refuses, ask them for Transmission Fluid Flush and check Trans Pan for metal shavings. If got metal shavings, ask for a free Transmission Rebuild. 3) If no metal shavings, ask to replace all Solenoids in the Valve Body 4) While they have the gearbox down, tell dealer to check wiring harness from Computer to Transmission, since since P0776 High could also mean wiring issue. @DP1011 do you have the 8-speed or the 5-speed bro? If 8-speed try driving in 4L-5th gear and if 5-speed try driving in 4L-3rd gear. Since you didn't re-gear, you now have to shift down to get more torque than the stock setting. We should sneak into a Newbie or Fewbie drive to play with the gearing and find your sweet spot bro ๐Ÿ˜ @Looper great Second Leading, nevermind the joke Second Looping, don't take offence from these brutal Intermediate barbars ๐Ÿ˜„ It's never easy especially if your Marshal is going fast then slow-down, or hasn't decided to take left or right ๐Ÿ˜ Eventually without you, that first car wouldn't have been winched back on track ๐Ÿ˜‚ @Gertjan @Jaro Tuzinsky @Chris Wing the FJ Amigos. Chris is finally proving that the Black FJ is so much better than the Beige FJ ๐Ÿ˜œ Gertjan and Jaro are now A-TRAC masters whenever their FJs get stuck ๐Ÿ‘ Prado Brothers @Waqas Parvez @ASAD. great driving as usual, always enjoyed your creative multiple tries whenever we found a play area ๐Ÿ‘ Waiting for your Instagram videos on these... @Benjamin Not bad for a 3rd Intermediate drive, am sure you're getting the hang of it. No refusal with that Jeep and watching you play Catch-me-if-you-Can with the Yellow Looper and 2 Prados means you have mastered to be one with your machine and learning to enjoy higher-level drives ๐Ÿ‘ Finally my Sweeper Brother @Mario Cornejo , that complete headers to exhaust system just screams beautifully in every climb-to-the-highest-dune moments. Man, I wish I'd bring the Insta360 to record your actions... oh well, that means I should join your drive again next time ๐Ÿ˜ Until next time folks, that was a great convoy indeed.

  33. Hej guys, it a fantastic drive. For me for the first time a proper intermediate dune bashing. Thank you @GauravSoni for taking care of us and perfect routing. @Looper it was so easy to drive behind you, you was showing me the tracks to be followed. @Chris Wing@ASAD. @Waqas Parvez always i am your active listener of your toyota and off-road rides experiences. @Vaibhav so nice to see you after long time, hopefully your car will be fixed soon. @Benjamin I remember you when we started in newbies and see now:) i believe you will be leading convoys in future:) @DP1011 @Zed @Mario Cornejo your skills are amazing and it was so nice to observe your art of dune climbings.. @Gertjan it is nice to see you any Saturday morning and to have you in our convoy is a guarantee of high quality of pictures and many i am downloading for my archive:) i am full of energy for tomorrow evening to click it in the time:) Thank you to be a part of your company this Saturday and see you next one.
