If any dropouts occur i will add you guys accordingly. We will be using Channel 4: 446.081 Mhz. Please be on time so we are ready to hit off by 06AM, so ensure you arrive 10-15mins before that to deflate and setup your flag. When you have a great team and good weather, in badayer …. Nothing to ask more… I personally had good time, and hope all of you joiners. After briefing, thanking @DP1011 for explaining to new members, what does yalla push mean. Everyone jumped in his car, want to start the adventure. @Krishna R listed the names for each one to acknowledge, and started the warm up phase. All went good, starting yalla push. First dune, was easily climbed, till the top, and we were lucky to have two pop outs in one time, not to have time wasted to fix each one separately. @DP1011 and his team fixed the one of @Dev_, and our team with @Krishna R fixed the one of @Abhilash Kottakkal. I didn’t know it was a competition, who will finish first, and Deepak team was the winner. It is all because @Krishna R taking so much time to get the jack 🤣. Pop outs fixed and started moving again…. Climbing and back down again, till we got the second pop out of Abhilash, again fixed quickly, and by that time, drive was towards the end, and started exiting. Amazing SL @Ignacio Quindós , @Krishna R thank you for watching our back, and as usual @DP1011 is always an asset for any drive. @Hisham Masaadthat was a great drive except for the popout. I clearly understand it is not becuse of the tyre, rim, pressure or anything but my driving style. The first popout i think i hit a small bump when on a side slop. The next one i think i countersteered and tried to fight gravity to go up and again had a popout. Very valuable feedback from @DP1011 @Krishna R on my driving style next time instead of fighting I will just go down take a loop come back and take it easy @DP1011 told me he specifically be was behind me to watch me and give feedback. I was thinking of taking a small break to let my tyre and myself relax. But both of them advised me not to stop and continue driving. In btw popouts I think we had a good run again cut of by me falling into the pocket.. Thank you all for your advises and being supportive and see you all again soon in the sand...

Really enjoyable drive today, specially opportunity to reach some tall dunes. Thanks Hashim for taking us to those areas, as well as being patient with those had pop out, and other delays. The team were brilliant in fixing those pop outs swiftly, and being available immediately for any assistance. Thanks Carnity team, see you in the next drive!

@Dev_ just telling may be you know already...as a popout king I must say.. clean the tyres it will have a lot of sand inside and do balancing. Enoc guys are now very familiar with me and told me they expect me on every weekend. I just told them that this is the last and hope to never return..

@Pavel Pashkovskiy @Mark B First of all this only matters if you're driving in 4LO, but as a part-time Jeeper, I can confirm to this. I always drive my Cherokee in 4LO + 5th Gear, and 4LO + 3rd gear when towing a Patrol 😅 ( @Frederic can confirm this ). The 4:1 is LOW/4LO Gear Ratio, the High/4H is always 1:1, that is why 4L is also referred to as Reduction Gear, it reduces to crawling speed. Link to my old Gear Ratio Calculation post below , but I found another photo that explains better (also below). There are other Ratios that affect calculation: Ring & Pinion (sometimes shorthanded as just Axle Ratio) + Transmission Ratio itself (which is different for each Gear Shift) + Transfer Case Ratio Assuming both Rubicon and non-Rubicon uses Chrysler's TorqueFlite 850RE 8-speed, which is licensed from ZF 8HP50 (used in BMW 5, 7, X3), here is the calculation for both when driving in 4LO 6th Gear (6th gear is where transmission ratio=1.0) for all cars: Rubicon w/ 4.88 Axles (newer ones): - 4L 6th gear = 4.88 x 1.0 x 4.0 = 19.52 final 4LO spinning ratio (bigger means more crawling - less speed). Rubicon w/ 3.73 Axles (older ones): - 4L 6th gear = 3.73 x 1.0 x 4.0 = 14.92 final 4LO spinning ratio. Sport/Shara/SandRun/Mojave 3.73 Axle + 2.71 4LO: - 4L 6th Gear = 3.73 x 1.0 x 2.71 = 10.11 final 4LO spinning ratio. There is an easy solution to this for Rubicon, just switch to 4LO + 8th Gear: - 4L 8th Gear Rubicon = 4.88 x 0.64 (8th gear ratio) x 4.0 = 12.5 final 4LO spinning ratio (close to Sahara's 10.11) OR, Rubicon can drive in 4High with 3rd Gear: - 4High 3rd Gear Rubicon = 4.88 x 2.10 (3rd gear ratio) x 1.0 (4Hi) = 10.25 (very close to Sahara's 10:11 on 4L 6th). Assuming huge price differences between Rubicon and non-Rubicon (I just buy old Jeeps so not sure about new prices now), my recommendation is: if it's ONLY for Sand, then Sport & Sahara as cheaper options are better. You will only drive in 4Lo: most sensors are turned off already + when you're stuck or refusal you're already in 4Lo 😁 BUT if you want to do some rock-crawling and also sand-bashing, then Rubicon is a better choice. Those high 4LO spinning ratio / bigger crawling are useful for crawling uphill and braking downhill at steady low-speeds. Very well said points @knightjp, however, I like to add a bit more transparency from diff angles. The video seems a perfect rant when a manufacturer stops giving cars for review and he admitted the same in the second video. We have seen such bad bad bad cars from famous car reviews sites here in Dubai too when they end up with a sour relation by being a critic for paid reviews. In the end, their car reviews sound like three liners of the pros and cons. Using diesel Pajero with loaded roof rack and 7 passengers expecting it to fly off on every dune, then his experience of "SAND" offroad is in the different field probably. No comments. What I seriously believe is what I see from my eyes and not through the paid reviews or advertorials of so-called legends, celebrities, influencers, champions etc. as those are most of the time is biased and motivated either by money or by the competitors. I won't even start about my model Pajero, as it's a different species altogether but keeping it specific to Gen4 Pajero, we have tons in our offroad club and almost all of them have driven through a fewbie level drive ------- Faaaaaaaar more than what this guy claiming to be challenging and getting stuck or refusal. Off course 3.8 (275 hp and 393 Nm torque) is much better than 3.5 (190 hp and 306 Nm torque) by great value and we have seen @WiLfY and @hossein driving there 3.8 almost everywhere without even a refusal.
