Thanks @DP1011, what an awesome and eventful drive this morning! Lovely flowing drive through nice big dunes! I started the pop out festival, 4 in total for the drive! @Luke K P had an impressive stuck that turned out worse than 1st thought with a broken front drive shaft. Hope all gets sorted out quickly mate! To everyone on the convoy, great team spirit and driving! Cheers all and enjoy the cricket tonight!5 points

Dear desert wanderers @Emanuel, @RiadJL, @Giacomo, @nithish468, @Gary F, @Ben Lee, @Fabien Monleau, @Mahesh_ and @Dodi Syahdar firstly thank you all for being on time this morning, that allowed us to get the briefing done and get away sharp before the glare of the sun got too much to handle. You guys drove fantastically well today, we managed 47.4 kms with an average speed of 12.8 kmph moving speed of 16.5 kmph and max speed of 49 kmph. We did have a lot of experience in the convoy and support, but having said that it should take nothing away from how well you all drove. This made for a smooth drive with only the one stuck and a handful of refusals that I can remember. We did encounter a couple of hundred meters of overlanding near the end as I had pushed a little to far to the right of where I had intended so apologies for that. @Ben Lee hope the small heating issues get resolved so you can enjoy the next drive with A/C on My S/L @Emanuel was in brilliant form anticipating where I might struggle and giving plenty of space allowing me time to get to the radio to redirect the line. This meant that you were able to do this and keep the convoy lines smooth. Thanks and great job my friend. We did switch the convoy order around which is always good fun, so my center forwards and sweeps @Dodi Syahdar, @Fabien Monleau, and @Gary F did an amazing job of doing as asked when I switched it up, and of supporting the whole convoy in assisting with the couple of refusals and stuck that we encountered. Great job today guys and thanks for all of the support could not have done it without you guys in support and my S/L. This drive was humorous with lots of laughs, great break times and even greater dunes. But it was also undeniably cursed. 4 popouts each becoming progessively more complicated to fix. Luke lost his cv axle during the recovery of the last popout and on the way home, 15 minutes from my house, I lost my rear driveshaft cv joint as well. Loud clunk on the highway followed by clicking (the symphony of a broken cv joint). Had to put it in 4wd to power the front wheels and get to my garage which was just around the corner. But hey, that joint did its job for 13 years. All this in one drive.... coincidence? You decide. I've been in nahel a lot of times now but on this drive it truly earned my respect. See you all next time. Keep digging, keep clawing.3 points

Fun drive, but with trials and tribulations. We started on time and and had some great runs up and down the huge dunes... Everything going smoothly until the first pop-out, which was resolved quickly. Next DP suffered a pop-out whilst climbing up a dune, followed by me losing a tyre. 5 minutes later I lost the CV Axel and the drive had to wrap up. Thanks for the support and patience. Hopefully I'll be out on the road again soon.3 points

Thanks Jerome, really enjoyable drive on my first IM drive in a while. Everyone drove fantastically! Real nice mix of terrain and the pace was great. First drive I’ve done 100% manual too which added a little fun for me, but the paddles make it easier 😬 look forward to driving with you all again soon2 points

Thanks @Davie Chase, @Emanuel, @Gary F, @Fabien Monleau & @Dodi Syahdar for the drive this morning Great driving from the whole convoy - navigating the chopped up, bumpy terrain and soft sand was a challenge I liked the switch in the middle where the back half of the convoy switched places with the front half - I think we should do this more often @Ben Lee hope the Jeep is OK now and the over heating issue gets sorted See you all on the next one! Some pics of @Emanuel playing peekaboo behind a dune during a recovery 😂2 points

Dear Desert Drivers, thank you for joining the drive today. When I reached the meeting point at 5:35 the dust of @DP1011 Deepack's convoy had already settled. At 6:00 we started the briefing while the last participant just arrived (he knows). and 10 min later we were on the go. It was already hot and humid, and it was going to be only worse during the drive. After a warm-up in the tall dunes of Sweihan, we continued in the direction of Nagrah, from one ridge to the other. Surprisingly a lot of convoys were around but we managed to keep the pace and move together. The tall dune on the way was apparently on the road map of each of the convoys. After a quick stop on the top to enjoy the view we continued to reach Nagrah itself. A tall climb with a switch on the ridge and a combination of 2 bowls was the adrenaline shot of the day. Smoothly done by the Jeep squad, while the X-terra was unfortunately not in the mood to climb. Another climb with a with a high crossing, and we continued in the open dunes. crossed a sabkha and a strange rock formation on the sand, and reached the next dunes cordon, where the Ghafeteen bowl is hidden. It was actually quite well hidden, with the usual access/ exit points being barred with steep slip faces. The bowl itself was not in the best conditions, with hidden pockets and very soft slopes. Once exited, the remaining portion was slightly technical, and I could see with refusals and stucks that we were all getting tired, from the difficult conditions of the day, time to reach the exit ! Well done all of you @Alexanderrr, perfect 2nd lead enjoying his new ride, @Rk ram @Julien Recan @Cristian for their first IM drive, and @Mark B, excellent support (thanks for pulling me and ram) and sweep.1 point
