  1. RSVP IS NOW CLOSED @Ahmed Wagdy@jackie gomes@Andreas Riis@vinayakm@Jose Luis Campos@Hetal@Srikumar@Abhishek Chikara@Sam_@Arvindraj@rroker@Vijaya Kumar Doppa@Rob S@Gilberto@Sviatoslav@Maytham Mahroos@Frederic118@GeorgeFJ@Sumedh Krishna@DP1011@Rohit Deginal@Jon L@Zubail@Theo09@Zubair@Haneef Thayyil@Nathan@Mike M.@Melenany As you all can see this will probably be a convoy that will be driving in two emirates simultaneously Some pointers, please take note: 1. Upon arrival please park on the right hand side so the farm track remains clear for the farmers passing by. 2. Deflate to 14-15psi if you have HT tires, or 12psi if you have AT tires. 2. We will use Channel 2 - 446.031Mhz 3. Briefing will be rather short as we will be mostly driving on farm tracks. Main important thing is to keep a bit of distance in-between the cars and keep your radio on. Seniors and supporting members on the drive are @DP1011 aka Deepak with dark grey Rubicon Jeep, @Rob S with the Sandy coloured FJ Cruiser, @Srikumar with the green Jeep Cherokee XJ, @melenany in sweep with the green Ford F150 Pickup. Please try to arrive 10-15mins earlier so we can all leave on time. See you all tomorrow !

  3. Dear desert wanderers @ChrisW, @Martin M, @Carl Stanley, @essam ibrahim, @Emanuel, @J-P L, @Ahmed Farouk, @Misha Puskar, @Johannes Roux and @Sandeep Nayar, thank you all for being on time this morning and joining the drive, it was great to meet some new faces and welcome back some old friends. The drive had a little of everything from some technical dunes to some beautiful mid to long-range flowing dunes. You guys drove amazing well and that was evident due to the few Stucks and refusals that we encountered. we had a few that were able to self-recover which was great to see. this is a journey and learning these skills will hold you in good stead as you go up the levels to the higher end drives. I just realized in writing this that we never once had to resort to shovels, winch or rope today, each and everyone of you managed to self-recover every single situation we found ourselves in, I think that is a first for me, especially given the nature of the soft sand we found ourselves in, so a massive pat on the back and well done to you all:):):) Our second lead today @Sandeep Nayar did an amazing job keeping a good gap and reacting to my mistakes and commands, well done Sandeep great job mate. @ChrisW played a blinder at sweep, keeping me informed all the way round as to where everyone was and the state of play at the rear of the convoy, thanks mate great job sweeping the convoy appreciated. our center forward for the day was not as busy as i expected him to be, this was down to the great driving of the convoy throughout everything I could throw at you. @Emanuel made short work of the couple of stucks and handful off refusals that we encounter in a calm and professional manner with little input from me. fantastic job and great to see you growing into the role of support. A short video of todays adventures and some pictures in the Gallery Check out Al Fayah desert drive on Relive! https://www.relive.cc/view/vXOnk4VpG56 Have a great rest of your weekend and see you all in teh sand again very soon

  10. @Islam Soliman thanks for all the memories! My 1st Fewbie drive was with you one of your famous technical drives. I learned so much on that drive and all the others with you as lead or in support. You are a true gentleman. Sorry that I can't make the farewell drive. All the best with your next adventures.

  15. Thanks for the inspiring message @Asif Hussain. When I was researching which off road club to join i read some of the posts about previous DCT competitions and was really inspired to try one day. The amazing mentorship of the senior members of the club brought me to this point quicker than I believed was possible. Along with the special people who I have grown with through this journey from newbie days early this year. @Nizar Shawwa and @RiadJL are two of those people. Look forward to meeting @JohanE.

  19. Thanks @DP1011 for adding me to this monumental drive with our friend @Islam Soliman. He had a profound impact on my early experience and skills building in NB and FB levels. @Islam Soliman, you will never be forgotten and often remembered fondly as a patient, calm and very communicative marshal guiding the next gen of more experienced drivers progressing through the Carnity experience levels. Looking forward to our drive together on Sunday.
