We request every member that joins this drive to go through the information below and strictly follow these guidelines, etiquette and responsibilities. MUST READ AND COMPLY Environmental Policy Offroad Flag Guideline Two Way Radio Guideline Off road Driving Etiquettes Emergency details for all off roaders Off Road Driving - Roles & Responsibilities Drive Details Level: Fewbie and above (all levels) Meeting time: 08:00 AM (departure time) Meeting Point: https://maps.app.goo.gl/bvmW2trEghw9ikHx5 - NEW!! Action Plan: While the Al Ajban area is starting to be better known to Carnity members, following 3 drives recently completed in its dunes, this time we'll try to connect successfully its pristine dunes to Little Sweihan, across the border into Dubai. The first time we tried the convoy had to turn around in front of a closed entry into a newly fenced in area. This attempt will see the convoy cross into Dubai from a different direction, which I hope will allow us to enter the triangular shaped set of cordons that constitute the beautiful area so called Little Sweihan. This is a wind-swept location, with plenty of tall dunes, of white/gold sand, in places close to each other, otherwise opening up in long and undulating sand canyons. Two quite diverse segments, separated by a no-man's land that we'll try do cross successfully, this time. What to bring along: Loads of water, snacks (for yourself), smiles, face masks, rubber gloves, enthusiasm, and willingness to learn. Approximate finish time: 12:00PM P.S. Only join if you have a compressor to inflate your tires after the drive. RECOMMENDED OFF-ROAD GEAR: Tire deflator & Tire pressure gauge Compressor (MANDATORY) Walkie-talkie radio (MANDATORY) Off-road flag (MANDATORY) Shovel, Tow Rope & 2 Shackles First-aid kit Fire extinguisher. LIMITED SPOTS AVAILABLE This drive is limited to 10 cars only. RSVP will close on Friday - 12 PM. If the RSVP is full, you can add your name to the waitlist, once anyone drops, you will be moved to the RSVP list. RSVP will close a day prior to preparing a convoy list. Latecomers will be returned - Without any exceptions. Members without RSVP will be returned - Without any exceptions. Please withdraw your RSVP, if you aren't joining, so your spot can be taken by others. Repeated no-show members after RSVP will have their account suspended for a month. hey mate, even the apex XL are too short to fit through my wheel rim.. So I am using the APEX RCV rapid deflation valuves. remove the stem core,.. and screw these over the existing schrader valve... rapid defaltion with no tools. Walk around undoing them all in order, stand for 30 seconds,.. walk around in same order doing them back up. gets to from 40psi to around 12psi in a minute I had a set on my pajero as well as you dont mess with any of the TPMS stuff... all bolt on the outside of wheel heres the link: https://www.apexdesignsusa.com/products/rcv-rapid-connect-valve @Emanuel2 points

Hey everyone, Yesterday's newbie desert drive in the Faqa area of Dubai was a fantastic experience! Everyone showed up on time for the briefing, and we kicked off the drive smoothly. We encountered only a few refusals and second attempts, and just two stucks that required some shoveling. @saumik1989 had a notable stuck, which I unfortunately missed. From what I heard, it seemed like he didn't have enough momentum and got caught in a tricky patch of soft sand. As for me, I had to give the White Rhino a short break and spray water on the transmission radiator due to an overheat. Thankfully, this didn't delay the convoy since we were playing on a larger dune at the time. Pajeros are prone to overheating in the summer, and I should have been driving in Tiptronic mode instead of D—a valuable tip Vanessa gave me about three years ago. @lucas amat managed to self-recover with a bit of help after what appeared to be a misjudge of the angle onto a ridge and planting the front of his Jeep into a big bush. @Vanessa8580 also had a minor incident, planting the front of her Xterra into another bush while navigating a small but steep dune. All great early learning opportunities. Overall, it was a relaxing and enjoyable drive. A big thank you to our marshal, @Vanessa8580, @JeromeFJ in sweep, and @lucas amat in second lead. It was great meeting all the new drivers, and I'm looking forward to driving with you all again soon. Cheers!2 points

You all drove so well I thought I had an intermediate group with me. So well in fact that we only had a couple of stucks and a handful of refusals including my own self-induced ridge crest so well done to each and everyone of you. A special shout out to my Second Lead @ChrisW who did an amazing job as always of smoothing my lines out and reacting to the late instructions to change the line, great reactions and job well done, thanks again mate. In the sweep we had the talented and colorful @Luke K P always a pleasure to have you in the convoy bringing that spot of color with you, great coms keeping the rear of the convoy firmly together and attending flawlessly to the occasional refusal, appreciate all the help mate. In CF 1 we had @Mark B, always calm under pressure and everywhere you needed to be with eyes on the issues and a calming concise manner at dealing with everything that was thrown at you I am sure everyone learnt a great deal today from you and how to self recover great job mate and thanks again. In CF2 we had our newest lead at Carnity @Benje_Junior, great support as always. good to hear you on the radio taking control of situations and giving advise where needed, this is all a part of your journey which you are acing, straight A student well done and keep it up, I am looking forward to support one of your drives in the near future.
