  1. Dear Desert Wanderers the RSVP is now closed for this drive. @Theo09, @Aringga, @Mark B, @Suneedh Wrangler, @Kashx2, @Steffi, @essam ibrahim and @Gary F, firstly thank you all for being on time, it makes the day start off on the right foot and allows us more time to play in the sand. we started off slow and easy and relaxed into the drive around the one and only clean patch of sand in the Qudra desert. It soon became apparent that you all were on top of you game and were driving like pros's, this prompted us to have to result in playing in a softish patch of sand to try to get some deliberate stucks. we kinda got there but the sand was not really soft enough, the cars were very capable, and the drivers even more so. So we soon gave up on this idea. From here on in we slowly but surely increased the level a touch and then had our first stucks, a slight cresting and one sidey that resulted in a lovely self-recovery. we then had our sweep having a slight refusal, so myself and our CF went back to assist. then as we were assisting i too had a refusal, the banter started as our CF thought this was very amusing. then the dreaded Karma struck, Myself and our sweep were able to self-recover, however, our CF had a lovely cresting that resulted in some handy winch work, unfortunately the convoy did not get to witness this as you were all patiently waiting where we left you under the watchful eye of our S/L. We then returned to the task at hand and exited where we started. You all drove amazingly well which made leading you all an absolute please. A big thank you to our S/L @Theo09 you did a fantastic job holding, moving left of center and right of center when instructed as we dodged a few pockets, well done excellent job My two partners in crime in CF we had @Mark B and sweeping us was our crest king @Gary F you both played blinders as always in supporting the drive with a calm professionalism that you both bring to the stucks and refusals, you also gave us a good laugh at the back when we had to help each other get out of our own self-inflicted mayhem. Great job as always guys and makes leading so much easier when you are in the convoy. Have a great rest of your weekend A small re-live video of the drive to watch over. https://www.relive.com/view/vYvEGLr9Gw6

  4. Thanks @Davie Smooth_Operator for a great drive and tweaking the intensity as the convoy was gaining confidence under your lead, for me it was a good mix of newbie, newbie+ and a little fewbie! I enjoyed seeing some old friends and exploring a new area which was exciting, fun and one of the best parts of the drive! Just a pity the convoy got to miss the entertainment at the back, it sounded like loads of fun over the radio... Looking forward to driving behind the red jeep again!

  6. Thank you @Ishak for a great drive this morning. Well paced, with a nice variety of terrain. I enjoyed particularly the first hour, starting with smooth easy ridges, growing progressively to higher dunes in the beautiful morning light. Excellent choice! It was a pleasure to meet everyone after a long break !
