You will need to bring some extra fuel compared to a normal drive. 40km (adnoc to meeting point) + 15km dirt road to the first dunes... and the same again when exiting to get to the nearest petrol station. So you will need to be able to cover roughly 100km before considering your fuel consumption IN THE SAND, hopefully we will be making good pace and will cover 80-100km in the dunes. Both of these petrol options are between 30-40 km from meeting point. adnoc 975: https://maps.app.goo.gl/fuMSAgGxSE5aTgq86 enoc 1915: https://maps.app.goo.gl/dvw1oeUJMxTvGctJ7 (enoc 1915 opens at 06:00... do you have enough time to reach meeting point?) FJ Cruiser with a mega sized FULL tank might not need to bring jerry cans as 140L of petrol goes a long way, but cars with smaller fuel tanks and/or higher fuel consumption will require Jerry Can(s) of fuel. If you don't have properly secured extra fuel or a massive full tank at the meeting point, we will have to turn you back. Please keep this in mind.

Tomorrow night will also be peak radiance of the annual Southern Taurids meteor shower. We should have a peak rate of around 10 shooting stars an hour from 22:00 visible just below the moon. From wiki: The Taurids are an annual meteor shower, associated with the comet Encke. The Taurids are actually two separate showers, with a Southern and a Northern component. The Southern Taurids originated from Comet Encke, while the Northern Taurids originated from the asteroid 2004 TG10, possibly a large fragment of Encke due to its similar orbital parameters. They are named after their radiant point in the constellation Taurus, where they are seen to come from in the sky. Because of their occurrence in late October and early November, they are also called Halloween fireballs. Since 2P/Encke is such a short period comet, the meteors have the slowest impact speed of the annual well-known meteor showers.

I am truly honored to receive Senior Marshal rank, and I would like to extend my deepest gratitude to CARNITY and everyone who has been part of my journey. Since my very first drive, Carnity has been much more than just a club, it has been a family, a learning ground, and a place where the passion for off-roading comes alive. Every drive, every dune, and every recovery has taught me something new, and I continue to learn with every drive I go on. A special thanks to my mentors, I will name only 3 with whom I drove for very first time @Gaurav @Srikumar and @Rahimdad You taught me my first steps in the sand and guided me through my early drives. Your support, patience, and trust in giving me the opportunity to lead have laid the foundation for everything I have learned and achieved. And i also thanks to everyone I have driven with, past and present for sharing their experiences and friendship along the way. with the 392 consumption it sucks every drop like a thirsty monster, I will have to keep jerry can and also ask you if that one is also used.

Hi all First drive with Carnity. Ford Ranger Raptor 2024 Black with front and rear eyelets. Some experience desert driving with another club, have driven in Muqquaab, Sweihan, Al Faqa, Nazwa, Al Qudra and Al Badayer. Have offroad flag, traction boards, programmable radio, air compressor, first aid kit, soft shackles and kinetic rope

Well deserved @Asif Hussain ! You have been there from the start, and i have learned so much from you over the years. You belong in the sand and possess the skillset to take a full convoy and challenge them all the way from beginning till end. Even in extreme terrains like Liwa, there is no holding you back. You are one of the very very few that i would literally follow everywhere, having full faith you will get us in and out safely and with masterful planning. Hooray Hooray Hooray! Here's to many more blessed years with us!!
