This made for life and dont change until gear stuck is crap sold by dealers to sell you whole tranny when its too late to rebuilt. Stop in front of any and google their name and see if first page has more good than bad story - walk in or drive further. Al Quoz has good workshops behind 3 and 4 interchange - Starts from behind pepsi and exit in front of opp Burj al arab and you will see more than 100 workshops in that 5 kms stretch.

Ford Explorer after 5 years is a money pit, IMHO.

VXR is always better not only due to 5.7L engine delivery more horse power, but also because it comes with diff lock, which is very helpful in negotiating rough terrain. Secondly, VXR height adjustment option is actually a blessing in some sticky spot, but also sensitive to regular weekly abuse.
