  1. You definitely have a point there, but if you really think it is a scam then how come government companies like enoc, eppco, emarat and adnoc selling same interval oil? may be this car you got has been dealt with bad workshop and you are thinking it otherwise.
  2. but it does have TRD engine and camry sticker.
  3. I am driving from so many years and never got a wrong fine, as you said you havent received the fine yet so it must not have been recorded in your account. Relax.
  4. Is this the self driving smart car you meant...? Where have you heard this I am really curious to know more about it.
  5. In this case I highly suggest to change your gear oil and gear oil filter immediately. This made for life and dont change until gear stuck is crap sold by dealers to sell you whole tranny when its too late to rebuilt. Delay in responding could be first step, and next will be jerking, then shifting hesitation.
  6. Thanks barry, for explaining it so nicely and luckily with the live specimen from poor beemer intestine.
  7. This is damn interesting answer of a very interesting question. May I add further: Is the middle or last ring is made of rubber? to provide such strong combusion sealing.
  8. Whenever we receive such low IQ question, we normally don't respond as in next few days admin delete such spammy topics. If you are too lazy to google to know who sells Porsche in dubai, then how did you landed up here at first place......!
  9. Well if its a turbo, then it could be a turbo lag that falls in similar timespan 0.2-0.5 secs delay.
  10. Thats really creepy and damn stupid for road users to drive at normal pace during the foggy days. Another thing I notice that many times that almost all cars these days have fog light and not many people know to switch that on. These fog lights are placed in lowest area of car front for a reason that it will provide you quick heads up of the car in front of you, rather than going too close to realize when its late.
  11. I really doubt buddy, as what you are expecting has to have a capability to run native support of android. It's not a problem, but its a design that Ford has made, and you really can't do much about it. BTW, which GT you meant that has native android support?
  12. this is crazy shit, now autonous ambition getting way too far.
  13. i am planning to buy a weekend wrangler in range of 20-30 dhs, can you please suggest any good year or other specifications / model / type? It should be 2 door please. thanks
  14. This is one seriously creative lad in teens, never know what he will do when he is ready for his turn. Good luck kid.
  15. What a crazy but attractive design, idea and thinking....... huh.... Morgan, as usual.
  16. You can try the Technical Garage and Dynatrade for you Pajero, they are really hands on with all Japanese makes and have exact information what you are looking for: Service interval with details of what need to be changed, inspect or replenish after so and so kms mileage.
  17. Back to the OP topic, bloodhound is good to be school text book project, that they have done little coverage last year and earlier this year but nothing that can be really realized IMHO. Volvo and Geely both are heavily deprived brand that want to get their name associated with this project so that their name can ring some bells to end user and they may be able to persuade to sell by using tagline of "fastest land speed car in the world".
  18. No offence to Barry knowledge and willingness to help everyone here, but we need more pro garage owners and technician to participate and contribute to be more open community. Thanks Barry for some really useful links, may be we can categories each and add some more links in each category. Good start.
  19. slick72, you reminded me of old time contessa classic history from India, where it was the only one real luxury car among bunch of FUGLY Ambassadors and Fiat's in 80's.
  20. @bean never seen any good mechanic workshop in satwa man, what are you talking about......! Drive past Al Quoz and you will have tons of good to best rated workshop. Stop in front of any and google their name and see if first page has more good than bad story - walk in or drive further. Al Quoz has good workshops behind 3 and 4 interchange - Starts from behind pepsi and exit in front of opp Burj al arab and you will see more than 100 workshops in that 5 kms stretch.
  21. Ford Explorer after 5 years is a money pit, IMHO.
  22. VXR is always better not only due to 5.7L engine delivery more horse power, but also because it comes with diff lock, which is very helpful in negotiating rough terrain. Secondly, VXR height adjustment option is actually a blessing in some sticky spot, but also sensitive to regular weekly abuse.
