  1. Barry, moment I saw you replied I knew you will make it as my last clue was pretty big. Yes, It's Paul Walker collection, going to auction soon on Jan 2020 in the US. https://www.autoblog.com/2019/10/02/paul-walker-car-collection-auction/
  2. Never knew Beer can be counted as a hobby too, let me update my list with 20+ items then.
  3. UAE is indeed very safe compared to rest of the world, but we should be responsible for our own things too. In such case when new criminal is born, cops will take some time to catch, so during that time, it's a big threat. Thank fully UAE cops and surveillance is top notch to not to spare such criminals and plus law is strict to deal with them accordingly.
  4. Who's car collection is this? Very nice and unique taste to have Older M3, Skyline, Bronco and pickups. 1963 Chevrolet Nova Wagon 1964 Chevrolet Chevelle Wagon 1967 Chevrolet II Nova 1988 BMW M3 E30 1989 Nissan R32 Skyline Race Car 1991 BMW M3 E30 Coupe 1995 BMW M3 E36 Lightweight 1995 BMW M3 E36 Lightweight 1995 BMW M3 E36 Lightweight 1995 BMW M3 E36 Lightweight 1995 BMW M3 E36 Lightweight 1995 Ford Bronco SUV 2000 Audi S4 2003 Ford F250 Pickup 2004 GMC Sierra 1500 Pickup 2006 Toyota Tundra Pickup 2009 Nissan 370Z 2013 Ford Mustang Boss 302S Race Car
  5. I have the same one and used once on a long drive to Liwa. It's full volume on highway speed is not at all satisfying, let alone the bass or clarity you expect from car audio system running with amp and specialized speakers.
  6. @MATHEW FELEX I think by mistake you signed in the Intermediate drive, please sign in the newbie drive. Also Sri has cancelled that Intermediate drive due to limited participation from Intermediate and above level offroaders.
  7. @Halit Mert Issever thanks for the intro and your suction clamp is perfectly fine to hold the flag and they do work as intended. Only thing I may advise is to move up to rear glass window for better suction grip and increase height for better visibility. There are tons of offroaders here happily living with suction cup since many years because they don't like to drill hole, so its no big deal. @Xaf thanks for the intro, making a permanent adapter might take bit of patience and few trip to turning shop or repair workshop who understand and fabricate what you really want. All flagpoles are of different sizing, I think AOR has 10-12mm thread, I think @Emmanuel can confirm that as he is using AOR flag, if Im not mistaken. Your LR4 and LC200 are pretty powerful, so be careful on first few drives and learn the off-roading skills rather than depending on the gas pedal alone. Do listen to newbie brief with undivided attention for understanding on how to tackle the dunes safely and also clearing the myths. Im glad both of your 4x4 has 2inch lift as that's the Achilles heel for most modern 4x4 but still learn the perfect speed to descend for saving the front bumper, this comes with bit of practice and after 10-15 dunes descend you will be in perfect sync. Hope to hear from @Adam Marston soon too.
  8. Are you saying this for Tahoe? Maybe you need to take a walk in sajja, tons and tons of scrap available there in crispy clean condition. More than 10 scrap yard for Chevrolet, check Carnity business listing. For all consumable stuff Al Ghandi stocks pretty much everything. Never waited for any parts for my Trail blazer not even a one day. Only once headlight relay was not in stock, so source one from scrap, still running since 2 years.
  9. All the newbies @Adam Marston @Xaf @Halit Mert Issever please introduce yourself with your 4x4 and previous offroad experience (if any) that will help trip lead to plan the convoy. Secondly the most important thing is to check your 4x4 front and back tow hook are there and in good usable shape. Without tow hooks no one is advise to venture offroad. Thirdly, all offroad gears are recommended but as it's your first newbie drive so it's ok even if you dont have them. Once you get hang of this new hobby, get your gear sorted as Fred mentioned.
  10. Yes and best way is to engage and drive 100 meters, then disengage and drive 100 meters. Do this few times if needed and see if your 4x4 is completely disengaged and vibrations are eliminated. In lever base 4x4, sometimes it gets partially engage or disengage and release after few meters of driving. Reasons could be all of the above that Fred mentioned.

    Funny Videos

This is hilarious and Im sure some female driver might pay such extortion even.

  13. I think Corolla braked, maybe because he was loosing the exit and after hard braking he must have realized oh I cant steer two lanes at once due to incoming traffic from back. OR genuinely something wrong happen that he had to brake so hard on the second lane. Lancer driver was fully distracted on phone, texting, music, passenger or sleeping as he didn't noticed corolla's hard braking at all. If he was fully attentive, he could have steered on fast lane as he was almost hanging towards left side. We all have dodged these last minute exit chaser so many times including those who steer through 3 lanes in 1 seconds.
  14. Let's discuss, share comments and learn from this what went wrong series with on-road accidents and be a safe driver, just like our offroad version, which was started by @Rahimdad last year. Super hit and Super helpful for all off-roaders. P.S. Be careful to not to share the privacy, as per law of the land.
  15. Get the quote from RSA directly too before deciding as since last so many years road side is pretty standard with RSA and AXA
  16. @Brette Mr. Detailing expert, please advise if this paint is gone or clear coat is gone?
  17. Tahoe is indeed much better than LC since very long time. Everything you said is true about Tahoe. Only thing it lacks is the rock solid resale value compare to LC as people are almost blind here when it comes to Japanese and don't wanna try anything else for the sake of loosing tiny bit more resale value. My wife drives Trail Blazer and I kid you not it has best safety features and strength with very comfy ride on highway, like driving on a sofa compare to any other Japanese 4x4's I have owned.
  18. Hmm good and fair point, but all other's aren't like stonehenge, as they are more like a mountain or spread out formation.
  19. Beautiful composition: Sun, Sand & balloons
  20. Cars - researching, buying, driving, fixing, modifying, selling, everything. Off-road - exploring new places, meeting new faces, training others and learning new stuff. Photography - more of ex hobby, as I tend to forget basics if not using the skills often. Biking - if weather permits, really calms me down. Swimming - occasionally now, just had a dip today after a very long time. Music - thumping playlist on long drives especially. Wish list Professional photography on regular basis, if time permits to pursue. Astronomy - if I get good guidance and training locally. Cross country off-road exploration. Hiking - Extreme level.
  21. Perfect Emmanuel, well done. Rahimdad our most love Superman is the only offroader carrying the biggest balls at all time.
  22. Last clue: We all love him as, people's person.
