  1. Some videos for yesterday drive to pink rock morning hope you enjoy https://youtu.be/syva1DqO5js https://youtu.be/zNoDG9gz_cM https://youtu.be/8jqIEY2sbrA
  2. Good evening Everyone Today early morning and while heading toward our meeting “ deflation “ point I was asking my self how am I going to enjoy being a CF ( center forward ) effectively and responsibly. It turned out that little pressure makes me work out It safely. It was an honor ! More than a skill I am making my best to develop and sharpen in the setting of off road drive “ COMMUNICATION “ . As the day progressed the convoy was going smooth and nice even with couple of stops either for refusals, stuck or waiting to connect the front with the rear of our 15 vehicle blessed convoy rounding the pink rock. @Frederic and @Rahimdad Thank you for the help and support during this amazing trip.and to all of you guys each by his name thank you for making this day so wonderful and at ease al along. I am really honored to drive with all of you . Take care and looking forward to join you once more in another adventurous ride. Cheers and drive safe 🌷🚙 P.S : I will post later few videos and pictures
  3. Hello I have Xterra and till now no squeaking sound so far ( three times to Offroad with you fine ppl ) and I don’t know when it will come. but what I do after each sand trip steam wash . regarding grease I feel that the grease will catch the sand particles ( silicon ) and will bind it even harder and makes the squeaking more prominent . ( it’s metal on silicon not metal on metal ) . I don’t know what the lithium had to do do though . best drive save and healthy
  4. Hi @Gaurav I withdrew the Friday newbie evening drive to pink rock. Upcoming Family commitment. Please give the slot to another enthusiast. best regards mohamed
  5. @Frederic I liked The “ Dune surfing” or riding more than bashing too 🏄🏻‍♂️
  6. Thank you @Rahimdad and I believe in the community that I recently joined , Carnity Offroad club , and agree totally. In the coming drives it would my genuine pleasure to try capture the best what I can and share it in this respectful forum. cant wait for the next drive one more time with you guys.
  7. thank you @Rahimdad for the topic of what went wrong. thank you all by each ones name who commented on the threads which I tried my best to see it all over the week end. for me it was so useful and life is a learning process indeed. watching others incidents and analyze it from different angels is one of best tools to sharpen the growing experience . that’s why I suggested previously if at all possible to document our drives in Carnity to the best we can in a way that the seniors in Carnity see it better. Let our vehicles move on sand in convoy of trust ,safety and thrill. cheers 🌷🚙
  8. Honestly and without reading the further comments I wanna give it a try of what I think first : it seemed as it’s a “ pull to flip “ rather than pull/ tug to recover 🤔 second : the recovery car and the FJC both going against gravity ( for the FJC it’s obvious , and for the Pagero what got it worse is the recovery rop from the middle was elevated by small ground hump acting like a pulley with upward direction of about 30 degree and together with the rope angle it’s plus 60 toward left ( already the FJC was stuck in a tilt right up ) third : non kinetic rope fourth : no sand clearance fifth : both vehicles needed to be redirected for better recovery sixth : rear tug abit could save all day by permitting more distance in front of FJC to later go forward using created slop momentum Seventh : if its me as a newbie I would feel comfortable to do what I am not sure of and I will ask for advice if alone ( I will not go alone off course ) or seek advice from others more experience in the group
  9. Hi all today I came along with my family to this nice drive , for them it was enjoyable and they liked it . Mostly impressed by the safety and patience , so do I from first time . Thank you @Gaurav for the valuable instructions that I respect . Also thank you @sertac for back pull when I got Encrusted ( was slower this time 🤚) as well as thank you to @Rahimdad for the continuous update and care all along . Thank you all fine people and see you soon in another Sand Epic And yet safe and healthy. below is edited clip I hope you enjoy it
  10. Hi all you will never know the thing till you at least feel it and that’s how I chose among three vehicles twice . Once on 2015 and I ended with Brand new grand Cherokee and still like it .and the second time recently which lead me to discover my current 2012 Xterra driving it almost weekly now with you fine people and still I have an ample time to learn the desert. the video and marketing episode is so epic ,( I love it I have to admit ), that may tempt some not to wait for the “ short” comings.where for some others just to hold their breath till what the tide brings along with it . Cheers and see you at dunes 🌷
  11. Thank you @Gaurav I could see the self recovery following your instructions . i suggest that when ever possible dear off-roaders to take videos from such stuck or even refusals and share it here so for the one who couldn’t witness it live ( e.g most of us we were waiting down the pick rock slope ) and though we were hearing the radio but couldn’t see it. After I sow it I learned a lot about applied physics and lows of gravity . see you next round with much joy and thrill and yet , as we say , safe and health

  13. When I sow how @Gaurav doing it I remembered the kinetic rope mechanism . Well done smooth and nice
  14. Thank you @Gaurav for the detailed report letting me repeat the nice experience of yesterday while reading it . I believe Good communication is needed the most especially in the sand. Regarding manual driving I feel would be more fun and chill in the sand while on road I prefer the automatic. thanks to all the participators in that day and wish to see you on the next round with much passion and yet extra safe
  15. It was amazing adventure along with all of you guys . Drive safe and be healthy .
  16. This snap was captured by my friend @Chaitanya D when their convoy ( red to pink ) crossed in front of us yesterday . Thank you Chaitanya for the nice capture .
  17. Hello Mukundan Actually I purchased my vehicle and the star was there already . please see my discussion about that in the topic reply best regards
  18. Good evening apologize for the late reply too this is quite worthy topic of discussion As unintentionally many people doesn’t cross their mind how important it is. Actually i purchased my Xterra already registered with two colors white/black from previous owner. So nothing other than transfer was required. after I searched and contacting the previous owner about how is it done it turned out it’s much easier than ever . Down load the Dubai Police App go to services choose criminal services then change vehicle follow each step by filling appropriate info pay fees you will be notified for approval then you have to go to change the registration card ( mulkeya ) for the new entry of new colors For more clarification you can dial the police call center and get the words direct from them. Best Regards And drive safe
