Imgur is the drive on and should we gather at 7 or later?

Alexander, Jeep Grand Cherokee.
@Asif Hussain, could you take a radio for me? It’s currently very foggy in Abu Dhabi. Please confirm if drive is happening today.

@Brette @VipinShetty Guys, another quick technical question. What do you think of driving with closed windows and possibly AC running? Yes/No?
I’ve noticed few cars doing so during last ride.
whats your take?

Thank you mate. This is a massive tuning project. Must have costed you an arm and a leg? What’s an approximate amount you put into your car?
-
-
@VipinShetty Thank you Vipin. Tires are 3 years old, made 50k on them. Indeed. Only superficial small (1mm and less) cracks on contact surface. Nothing on sidewalls.
i thought it might have been the result of temperature due to moving sand around, etc.

@muzrma Thank you. Let me think 🤔.
can you tell us more about your car? Did you get it new/used? And who did the tuning-engine/wheels?
Or you got it like this already. Also, a very cool color, I haven’t seen many like this on a road. Did you repaint?
-
@Brette How much did your modifications cost you overall? Approximately?
And how does the dealer look at this? I guess you car is still under warranty?
do you know what would be the average price to get smaller rims and more deserty tires?
And also one question to you or anyone who might know.
My tires have 50K on them. i just did a service today and dealer highlighted many surface cracks.
i don’t remember seeing cracks before. I did 2 trips in desert so far. Is it 20 inch rims or I did something wrong? Or it’s just time for these tires to deteriorate. Wondering if my off-road drives ‘helped’ this process in any way.
appreciate

@Brette What made you choose JGC as your primary off-roading car? Would there be some other/more suitable options-wrangler, etc.?
given the choice, would you take same decision again or would go with another car?
could you share a picture of your car?
Are there a lot of modifications?Bash plate? Your car is still on warranty, right? would installing one void the warranty you feel or not?

@Brette Thank you Brett. I managed to scratch tints from inside as I was opening/closing the window while driving. There were some moments when I would have full car of send if the window was open:)
all well otherwise

Thank you everyone. We had a good ride with Asif.
few other technical questions for the next ride:
JGC owners, did you do anything with that wheel arch (picture below)? After removing lower fascia, this part is exposed. I’m concerned that it will fall or from wind when driving on highway. And maybe a very basic question-how to avoid/minimize scratching front windows/tinting film from sand which gets trapped between glass and window frame

@Asif Hussain Can you post videos of us taking harder obstacles? I believe your daughter took some. Thank you

Thank you @Brette. Should I pull F76 as well or not required?

@VipinShetty and team. Would you know what’s the right pressure for 20 inch wheels (when deflated)? Someone mentioned that they have 20 inch rims.

i’ve removed lower fascia in preparation for the drive. Can you guys please advise if you just pull the fuse before ride and put it back after? Or there are some other steps required to properly disarm airbags? Like, do you disconnect the battery before pulling the fuse/etc.?
I’ve read in one instruction that you need to disconnect “-“, wait 30 min for airbags to discharge and then pull the fuse.
how do you normally do it on JGC?
many thanks

Hi everyone. Jeep Grand Cherokee 2017.
first timer, have front and back towing hooks.
So what time we need to be at the spot?

So how do we do?
Last time it did not clear till 9 or 10.
At what time should we aim to start?
Would not be much fun to arrive 7 and wait for 2-3 hours:)
