Fantastic morning out and a return to the sands after a couple of months for me. Thankyou to @JeromeFJ for leading us through the sands, and @Vanessa8580 for sweeping and supporting. Also well done to @Theo Prado for a very well executed second lead, following Jerome's instructions perfectly. Few "crestings" that allowed some teaching of where to dig and how to recover without ropes. Slight deviation from the track and into some soft sand @Lazy Frog had his first taste of sitting patiently at an angle while the team shovelled and secured the car. Well done for staying calm and eventually exiting the bowl, you got to understand how good the FJ really is! Well done to the rest of the convoy, keep trying to find balance between "on gas" and "off gas" to keep momentum and how just lifting off can slow the car and limited needs for brakes when navigating the dunes. See you again soon

Good evening all! Was fantastic weather on Saturday morning and a return to qudra for myself. @Davie Smooth_Operator took us to some nice area free of bushes and with some perfect dunes to learn some 'sideys' and some 'up and overs'. With a slightly smaller convoy, it was great opportunity for everyone to understand their cars and how they perform in the desert, as well as some good self recoveries from @saumik1989 when stuck on a crest and @Fenya after getting stuck on some soft sands in a small bowl. I hope you both enjoyed the drive and went home with some learnings as you develop your desert driving skills. Key learning from saturday for everyone was balance of speed vs momentum. Unfortunately we had to cut the drive short towards the end due to some jeep gremlins on our leader @Davie Smooth_Operator car, which we think prevented the fans from providing suitable cooling, causing it to overheat. Thankyou to everyone for following my lines and instruction as I took the convoy out under Davies supervision. Thanks to @J-P L for returning back into the sands behind me as we returned to Davie's car and support the recovery. Thanks to @saumik1989 for following with us once on the track to 'last exit' Well done @Vijaya Kumar Doppa for SL duties and and thanks to @Nadeem Ansari for joining us aswell! @Davie Smooth_Operator thanks for letting me know you got home safely and we hope it's a quick fix so we can join you in the desert again soon!
