This drive is Part 1 of a three drive series which will be posted in subsequent weeks depending on the Off road Plan with Carnity to balance all leads and drives to get as best possible a balance of variety in terms of challenges, drives, leads, terrains and areas. Part 1 - Ridge Rider - 12th Feb 2021 Part 2 - Criss Crosser - Will be posted in coming weeks Part 3 - Technical Challenger - Will be posted in coming weeks All three are for intermediate drivers only as we believe at this level you are well aware of your car, your driving style in sync with your car for these drives to learn, challenge and improve albeit safely. Please watch out for the subsequent parts in coming weeks and join in as per your availability. We will be taking the longer route to Qudra from Lisaili which means we will be driving through Murqab, Faqa, Little Sweihan , Solar park area and Qudra if time permits. This is to give you a rough idea about the intensity, expected duration (variable) and the terrains which we will drive through. We will specifically hit the areas in these terrains which will offer us maximum dunes for doing the drive purpose in each part. For Part 1 we will be driving in the long range dunes as much as possible. Make sure you come with a full tank, Car in good conditions, recovery gear for this level (Radio, Flag, Deflator, Compressor, Kinetic rope and Soft shackles). Recovery points should be checked and in good conditions. Jerry can with extra fuel is preferable as we will be driving some serious distance. For Part 1 it is preferable for the cars to have a front bash plate (6mm or more) to keep the radiator protected, if not it is at your own risk to join. This drive is organized in full compliance with the COVID19 guidelines. Superman is back from his vacation and invites all intermediate level drivers to sign up for this drive. It is going to be fast paced, fun and full of thrills as I have been missing in action for the past 3 weeks. Area 53 is the most versatile area in the UAE offroading scene, that offers beautiful tall rolling dunes with plenty of opportunities for side slopping, ridge cutting, and long hill climbs. Any Fewbie who have already had 15 or more drives is also welcome to join. We may promote few fewbie drivers to Intermediate level after this drive, if there driving skills are at par to match the pace. Promotions based on driving skill set is just the "one aspect" of the grading structure, they also need to follow other points: Level of drive: Fewbie+ and above When: 4 July 2019 Meeting time: 10:00 PM, the convoy will move sharp at 10:15 PM Where: Badayer Shops at Nazwa, before Madam R/A GPS Coordinate: https://goo.gl/maps/GMrTGmx4J5L2 Plan: Night drive through the Pyramids - Area 53 - Iftar bowl - Super Bowl (maybe) What to bring along: Evening snacks - whatever you like with little extra to share, water, liquids, smiles, stories, and enthusiasm. Srikumar posted an event in Carnity Events Calendar
untilA long anticipated drive is finally around the corner. Ever since we set sights on Wagan in the beginning of the year I am sure in everyone’s heart, we were wondering when we would be returning back. Now, with the weather cooling off and on the occasion of National Day Celebration, Carntiy Offroad Club is celebrating it in its own unique version of having a drive through the absolutely amazing Wagan Dunes. And hopefully with a little bit of luck we would have found a nice set of dunes without hitting any fences. Plan is to have a full day drive starting from Al Wagan and ending on the other side near Umm Al Oush. Meeting Time: 8:00 am on 2nd Dec Location : ADNOC Gas Station : https://goo.gl/maps/89AN54b7tsA2 End Point : Umm Al Oush https://goo.gl/maps/ufdCxScTL4T2 End Timing : Around 7:00 pm on 2nd Dec Level of Drive : Intermediate and Above only Checklist: Your 4x4 should be well serviced and all lubes and fluid should be topped up 20 Liter fuel jerry can 20 Liter water can or equivalent water bottles Air compressor, tow rope, 2 rated shackles, proper shovel, flag, jack and wooden plank Please ensure that your car is in the best possible condition as this is an area that would definitely test your vehicle. Also, please carry the bare essentials for the drive so as to reduce the load in your vehicle.-
