Congrats @Jose Luis Campos on your choice of vehicle to start your off-roading journey. This will make you a very skillful offroader in no time.

Welcome to @Carnity

Hi all - this will also be my first Newbie drive with Carnity and I'm looking forward very much to building on the skills I learned from Gaurev on the Desert Driving Master Class.

Vehicle: Jeep Wrangler Rubicon 2024, Silver

Prior expereience: have done some offroading in the past in my previous Jeep Wrangler Overland (like the Sahara here I think) on easy-to-medium bush and mountain trails in Australia (10-20 trips over the years), particularly around the Blue Mountains outside Sydney - mostly on dirt, rocky, muddy trails with some water crossings. Also have the experience of a week of driving on sand on Fraser Island in Queensland several years ago.  This was on beach sand and only a little on dunes - certainly nothing like the size of dunes in UAE. Otherwise, I did the Desert Driving Masterclass with Guarev K two weeks ago.

I have a safety flag (delivered yesterday) and have ordered a Baofeng UV-5R radio due to be delivered today.  Will update if this does not arrive in time for Saturday.

The Wrangler has both front and rear tow hooks

Looking forward to meeting you all

Steve
