DRIVE DESCRIPTION

Do you want to experience the thrill of what it is to drive with concentration and finesse to tackle the desert and navigate on a shortest route to waypoints!!?? join us for this drive which is organized as a practice session for team Waypoint Mavericks in preparation for DCT 2024. You are welcomed to join in on the fun and test your mettle against the Time attack!  The drive will have only 4 places to sign up as other 4 drivers will be Waypoint Mavericks!

DRIVE DETAILS

Level:  Fewbie + and Above

When: 26 Oct 2024 Saturday

Meeting time: 06:00 AM

Type of Car: Any proper 4x4 with front and back tow hooks and 8-10 inches of ground clearance.

What to bring along: Loads of water, snacks (for yourself), smiles, face mask, rubber gloves, enthusiasm and willingness to learn.

Approximate finish time: 10 AM

Type of Car: Any proper 4x4 with front and back tow hooks and 8-10 inches of ground clearance.

Mandatory off-road gears: Tire deflator, tire pressure gauge, compressor, walkie-talkie radio, off-road flag, shovel, first-aid kit and fire extinguisher.

Note: Please ensure that all of your off-road gear is securely tied down with ratchet straps in the rear compartment of the vehicle. Bungy type tie downs are not suitable for tying down off-road gear.

We will be driving point to point as marked on my GPS, covering as many diverse terrain ending with long climbs towards Al Ain airport.

please note that we have the access road cut off due to construction

take the Al saad police station road.. this is internal road and will get you to starting point… once you reach , deflate and get inside the automatic gate and keep driving on the gatch track…
