DRIVE DESCRIPTION

Get ready for an unforgettable adventure as we take on the golden dunes of Sweihan, known as the “Little Liwa” for its vast, rolling desert landscape. Our off-roading journey will have us carving through towering ridges, gliding across endless sabkhas, and tackling thrilling climbs that test both skill and spirit. Along the way, we’ll pause to soak in sweeping desert

Drive Details

Level:  Fewbie and above

Meeting time: 6:30 AM (SHARP - Without any exceptions)

Meeting Point:  https://maps.app.goo.gl/iKX5RPHV9FwfcpaH8

Type of Car: Any proper 4x4 with front and back tow hooks and 8-10 inches of ground clearance.

What to bring along: Loads of water, snacks (for yourself), smiles, face mask, rubber gloves, enthusiasm and willingness to learn.

Approximate finish time: 10:30 AM

P.S. Only join if you have a compressor to inflate your tires after the drive.
 

LIMITED SPOTS AVAILABLE

• This drive is limited to 10 cars only. RSVP will close on Friday - 1 PM.
• If the RSVP is full, you can add your name to the waitlist, once anyone drops, you will be moved to the RSVP list.
• RSVP will close a day prior to preparing a convoy list.
• Latecomers will be returned back - Without any exceptions.
• Members without RSVP will be returned back - Without any exceptions.
• Please withdraw your RSVP, if you aren't joining, so your spot can be taken by others.
• Repeated no-show members after RSVP will have their account suspended for a month

Looking forward to seeing you all a little before 06:30 at the meeting point tomorrow, with a full tank of fuel, and ready for some exploration of the bowls in Sweihan heading towards the Old Lady Dune.

Come 06:30, we will proceed with the briefing and head into the sands.

Good morning. Reached the location. so many groups here🤗

Thankyou everyone for being on time today. We had a lot of company this morning at the meeting spot, over 75 cars at one point!

After a quick briefing we ventured into the Al Saad portion of sweihan, dodging convoys from the left, right and Infront of us... Pushing on until we found some secluded areas to start playing around in. 

Abu Dhabi really has some amazing desert scapes that just seem to come out of nowhere... Turn a corner and boom, transported to another planet!

I think a lot of you got to spot the jeep doing some extreme moves on the top that tall dune.. certainly a lot of excitement. 

After some long around we eventually found out way into a number of very deep bowls, snaking our way around and building momentum to climb out in a circular fashion. 

We didn't quite make it to the old lady dune today.. so we will have to come back in a few weeks and aim for it again.
