Fewbie Plus Desert Drive (2 DAYS) - The Untamed Liwa - Abu Dhabi - 24-25 Jan 2026

It looks we are having a very similar RSVP as last year  Fantastic to see you all back and there is no doubt it will be another great day out in some of the world's biggest dunes.

Our plan will be to stay high in the dunes wherever we can and taking in the magnificent sights. 

The camping spot will be the same as last year, as i was approached by some Carnity friends that they will join us at the campsite, which is fantastic. We can perhaps even hope they will light the fire by the time we arrive @Sam Selim etc..

I was in Khatim last night for the work thing, it was freezing! Plus, wind and sand blowing everywhere. Hope it is calmer in Liwa tomorrow.

You will see, once we arrive everything will settle down 😁.

 

See you all in the morning guys!

- Get some early sleep and make sure you are fully fueled once you reach the starting point.

- Bring your jerrycan and ensure it's strapped safely. Even if not needed in the end, it's a good precaution.

- If you have any space left, please bring some firewood so we can make a nice bonfire together.

- We will use Channel 4: 446.081Mhz.
